I usually always have a great experience at Chipotle, and have been known to take advantage of the online ordering process during the lunch/dinner hours to speed things up. I hate giving more negative reviews of places, and this may have been a fluke, but the overall process from this particular Chipotle was disappointing. My friend and I ordered a barbacoa burrito and three hard shell tacos, online, for dinner. We arrived at the establishment after the estimated time (about 15 mins later) and went to the checkout station for pickup. I was a little surprised when we were immediately handed cups for complimentary drinks since the order wasnt ready, yet. That was a very nice gesture, so props to the workers for that. We must have been the only online order during that time. Overall we had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the meal since the hard shells needed to be crisped (from what I gathered). Sadly, the food was only luke-warm when we received/brought it home (5 min drive) as well, so that took away from the experience especially when those burritos usually retain their generally scaldingly-awesome heat for ages. TLDR: Long wait despite online order, free drinks for the wait, cold burrito. Sad panda overall. Friendly and clean staff but poor time-management skills. Ill give the store another chance, but hope they learn to multi-task better.

I never write reviews, but I love Chipotle. All I can say is - stay clear of this place during lunch time. There is this old-ish sad/grumpy looking dude there with ZERO customer service skills. Hes the type that makes you feel like crap when he does something wrong, or you ask for something. I have multiple story-worthy visits, but here is the latest that puzzled my mind: I asked for a bowl to go with the usual - rice, beans and fajita (did not mention meat at this point). Old grumpy guy acknowledges, but skips the fajita and guns for the steak. The steak gets in the bowl, but I cut him off and told him, "you skipped the fajita and that I originally wanted chicken but that can work too". He then grunts, and without asking anything further (and making me feel like it was my fault), tosses the bowl in the garbage, wasting the food and starts over. Then skimps on the chicken. Wow dude, throw the bowl away, really? Just bad. Overall: Food: Good, but hit and miss with quantity (especially with grumpy old dude) Customer Service: Needs work (i.e., if grumpy old dude is there). Otherwise appears okay Smile and be happy old grumpy dude!

Why does it seem that people only take the time to leave reviews when they are negative ? Fact is Im usually guilty of that too. I originally logged on to complain about the Eden Prairie location (ALWAYS running out of Steak and Guacamole) and if they have it, they are so cheesy with how much they serve. (got to ask for your share) Then I decided to pass on the LOVE first ! I Love this restaurant ! I eat in this restaurant 2 to 3 times a week and in between stop by and pick up two salads to go for my lunch and dinner. The food is always awesome (no outages) or (begging for more) , the staff is always very friendly and the tables kept up. In retrospect Im noticing that the other reviews are outdated, perhaps things have changed for the better. I can only hope when I check back later others are leaving the compliments I think this one deserves. My husband and I both eat at this restaurant all the time and will continue to do so ;)

I think the management is horrible. They never keep management the same and they are lacking quality in employees. They seem to lose all the good employees because every time i get to know the ones that take their job seriously here they are gone in a month or two. The lemons and lime are always out. On one visit to this monstrosity of a restaurant I ordered online and when I got there the food wasnt even started. So I got there and I still had to wait a half a hour for them to make it when I ordered it five hours before. They burned my chicken and the rice was undercooked I am sorry but they food may be good sometimes key word "sometimes" but they employees and their constant fighting and bad service is not worth it. STAY CLEAR OF THIS ONE!! Because if you want drama with your meal then this would be the place to go to see the employees personal lives and fighting with each other.

Ordered online and paid with a gift card. Stood by the register like the instructions said. Cashier saw me and continued helping other customers for 10m. Got in line and asked for my order. They ran into the back of the shop (why would you keep them there?) and found my already completed order; but instead of just handing it to me, they made me continue through the line while they smirked at me. Then they realized it was already paid for, finally handed it to me, and I left. Clearly I had perturbed the staff by having the audacity to order and pay in advance. This is some of the worst fast food service Ive ever had.

Ive been going to this location for years, and only in the past year or so has it seen a decline in quality. They seem understaffed a lot of the time. Ive noticed that the Now Hiring sign is almost always hanging up by the entrances which seems to indicate high employee turnover, which translates to always training in the new person which in turn slows everything down. Ive had to wait for rice and steak for a period of 5-10 minutes, and have seen it happen with other people for other ingredients. I love Chipotles food, but the workflow at this location is disastrous and has been for quite some time.

Chipotle is my favorite - I probably eat here once a week. My only complaint about this specific location is that the results arent consistent - some days you get a generous scoop of rice and guacamole and the next day you dont. The rice and meats dont always taste the same either. I guess thats what you get to know your food is freshly made! I just wish I knew whether or not the rice was going to be overly salty or flavorless before I went. It would change the choices in my burrito bowl.

Its hit or miss. Theres nothing wrong with the food, its the service. Employees playing games, joking around, saying nasty things to each other while making your burrito, or ringing you up. The thing that pissed me off the most about this place is that they get such an attitude if you come in at 9:30pm. The store closes at 10. It seems like some of the problem employees are being identified and replaced, but its clearly not a priority to nail down the customer service issues.

Very slow process of getting your food; usually due to be understaffed and always out of rice/chicken. I would say its ultimately the management to blame. I only live a couple miles away but when I get hungry for chiptole, I really have to think about whether I want to go to this certain location. Sure no place is perfect but these guys are consistent with poor service. Also not a fan of the cashier always hitting on every girl in line, bad form.
