This Chinese restaurant is under new ownership which a lot of people dont know. If you have had a poor experience with them, most likely not the same management. The food is the best I have ever eaten, I have tried several restaurants in the area and around the twin cities as well as nation wide. This family is originally from China and spent time in New York as a Chinese chef, it is probably the best take out or delivery food I have ordered over the years. The delivery is generally too hot to eat, which means that it must come out rather fresh. They always seem very happy and ready please. Definitely our families favorite when looking for some good food, portions are big enough to get a meal or two out every time.

I dont know what happened to my previous review I compared new china to the other places in Blaine and they were the best, went there for years, I usually just had the chicken chow mein, pork fried rice, egg rolls and fried wontons and they were good, well I just had my first order with the new owners, the only thing that didnt go in the trash was the white rice, no flavor, soy sauce didnt even help, its evident that the dishes are premade at a factory some where, they have an impressive menu so I cant vouch for the rest of it but if they cant make a good chow mein they are doomed and will fail. I guess Ill have to go back to making it myself.

Im very happy with my decision to try this place again. Last year it was horrible! Now its AMAZING. The new ownership has really turned it around. Food is good and delivery service really timely. Ive been looking for a good Chinese deliver place. Weve had the sesame chicken, general tsos chicken, chicken fried rice and springs rolls. All were fresh and tasted right. I waited till we ordered a few times before writing this review.

Got a card in the mail and thought wed try them. When ordered they said it would be a half hour. five phone calls and an hour and a half later they showed up with cold food. Somehow the drivers GPS inaccuracy was our problem. Google finds us fine. No apologies, price adjustment or tip. Food marginal even after microwaving to get it back to temp. We wont be going back, Ill drive to 88wok.

So upset this changed owners! The food is disgusting! Chicken chow mein has a slimey/gel-like substance sauce that has lumps of this gel-like substance. Chicken froed rice is made with minute rice and no flavor and almost no chicken. What chicken there was was dry! The cream cheese wontons are just sugar and grease. Go somewhere else, it will be worth the drive!

Absolutely terrible food under new ownership. All our family and friends used to come here since it was the only good Chinese place within the surrounding suburbs. Now its just a grease pit like those buffets, but the kicker is you pay more for it. If this is your idea of good food, then go get your moneys worth at the Asian buffets instead.

Awesome food and great service. My grandma cant get out much and the delivery service was just what we needed to have a great night. Excellent food and the gentleman who came to the door was so sweet. Food was so tasty and fresh. I will continue to order from New China as long as I live in Blaine. Well done, high praise!

My kids are picky and they liked the chicken fried rice alot. It was hot and fresh, and the chef prepared it well. It actually had chicken in it, not mystery cubes. They could make the front entrance a little more inviting and remember they have to sell their take-out restaurant visually too. Well be back.

Ordered through grub hub. Only good thing about it was the delivery time. Food was mediocre, and the service wasnt great. When the delivery man said he was at my apt, I asked him to buzz up. 5 min later I ended up having to go down there... I even tipped him on my card! I wont be ordering here again.

Terrible food. I realize these places are not the nicest but generally they have really good food, not in this case. We had the Chicken lo mien, yuck, the chicken chow mien, gross, and the wonton soup...so disappointing. Do not eat here. Go to Wok 88, so good!!

I love this place. They deliver to my work and its always hot and fresh. The food tastes great- I wasnt there before new management but they are doing something right now! About to order some lunch from them that will feed me today and tomorrow!

Their delivery service is amazing! The food is fresh. They got to my house under 30 minutes. I only ordered the orange chicken the steamed pork dumplings and pop and they gave me an egg roll and a pouch of rice with no extra charge.

Have ordered food here twice, chicken fried rice was horrible chicken was almost uncooked. Ordered 3 lomains yesterday and one had no meat inside. I will not recommend anyone to this place.

Very rude people work there. The sign said they were supposed to be open and I went to go there and it was closed. I went back a few hours later and the food was HORRIBLE!

Weve ordered from here a few times and were disappointed every time. Quality was very poor,they seem to overload veggies and skimp on the meat thats the main ingredient.

I had the Kung Pao chicken. It was horrible. Insipid boiled vegetables and leatherish chicken swimming in an MSG flavored broth. I will never visit here again.
