The one saving grace, at least in my most recent experience, was that the server was relatively attentive. The food here is not what it once was, and meat temperatures are not adhered to, which is sad coming from a "burger joint." There is not much reason to go to eat here, especially in Ypsi-Arbor when you have other places like Sidetrack (not much better on meat temps) or any of the plethora of burger spots in A2. Additionally, I am not one to cause a problem when Im in the restaurant - but I dont remember even having a manager be visible during the visit. Our appetizer was obviously overdone - as the server was hesitant to place it on the table. They then proceeded to ask if appetizer plates would be appropriate, rather than having the foresight to place them before the food arrived. For what, I would assume, is a corporate restaurant (chain), I would be privy to suggest updating your training of your service staff and your Kitchen staff, unless this one place is an exception.

Ive gone here at least a dozen times now and theyre pretty decent. The happy hour specials later in the evening are great, even though I dont care for any of the half-off appetizers they offer during this promotion. The endless non-alcoholic drinks and sides are such a good deal. You can technically order a root beer float without the root beer for bottomless ice cream, which is awesome. My friends always order the nachos and I enjoy the wedge side salad because theyre they best value. The recent decor changes are... really odd. The best way I can describe it is upscale tacky. I get that they want to change it up from the older days of "put up as much random crap on the walls as possible," but the new look just has the same effect only you can tell theyre trying to be classy, but failing so miserably. At least the new tables they got arent hopelessly sticky any more. Obviously, the ambience has little to do with the food or service, but its still a little cringe-worthy.

I have long been Red Robin fan and I think their burgers are some of the best in town but lately theyve been completely outdone in my mind by places like five guys and Elevation Burger. Tonight I ordered a Whiskey River BBQ burger the onions on the bottom were completely gelled together stringy, uncooked and tasted like hair and painful to try to swallow. Even after taking them off the burger the burger itself had a new white bread bun and the sauce was served on the side. They made the food appear better with nicer plating but the quality of the food has gone down substantially and this burger was the worst Ive ever had from Red Robin. I mentioned it to the manager who told me that he went to the back and they threw out the onions I complained about and he was a nice enough guy but offered no help or apology. This experience has me questioning whether I would ever go back to this location.

All I can say is horrible. I walk in and barely sit down when I feel a splash of beer on my brand new shirt. I get an apology and the manager runs with a an old, stained cloth used to clean tables to clean my shirt. I mention to him that the rag is dirty and he just studders. I appreciate the apology but come on I just sat down to enjoy a meal. The manager who is dressed like a general manager never comes back after that situation but when I was walking in, I noticed he was asking guests if their meal was fine. When I finally finish my meal and it comes to pay and still the manager never comes out of his hiding area, I noticed my bill at full price. I never asked for one but geez at least offer a 10% discount or something. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Disgusting management team!! Very unprofessionals we were there waiting for food over 50 minutes with our younge kids, and when asked the managements about the delay, the management responded by telling my friend "this is not Mc Donalds" with a nasty attitude followed by burned burgers. Such an idiot!!! His name is Jason Williams from what we learned from the staffs. We will be contacting the corporate on Monday and we will post you their response here also, lets see if inadequate upper management in the corporate office is the direct cause of this guys poor behaviour!!!

As far as Red Robins go, this one excels. Servers are great, they have adequate parking that is easy to get to, and none of their beverages taste watered down. I would knock it a half star because I liked the previous decor better, but its definitely not worth dropping a whole star to me. I tend to go during less busy hours, and the music is quiet enough to be pleasing without being intrusive on conversation. I really like the ghost pepper sauce, and the servers have always been kind enough to bring me a dipper of it for my fries.

Went today with the wife and kids. Both mine and my wifes burgers were very cold, mine was very rare when ordered medium. It was so rare the patty would not stay together, looked like loose hamburger meat. Very disappointed seeing that we both were very hungry when we got there and left hungry $50 later. Also our server was very slow, dont know if that had anything to do with it or not. We wont be back, there are lots of other places for a overpriced burger.

I had a long ass hair in my food and all they said was well get you another plate. They acted as if i just said i didnt like my meal. No their was a long blond hair. And im a black guy with a mohawk. The hairs dont match. They didnt ask what would make me happy. Because just getting another burger made isnt enough. Its gross and unsanitary. Ill never eat here again. And i suggest no one else eat at the red robins on carpenter road in Ypsilanti michigan

Red Robin rarely lets me down. I have experienced some of the best and most prompt, perfectly appropriate service at many Red Robins. For a chain, I think they do the best job of properly and consistently training their servers. This one has been no different in my experiences! The food is always bomb, some of my fav burgers, fries and I have not ever eaten Red Robin without their poppyseed honey mustard to dip my garlic fries in... clutch.

It was very clear that the staff was not being managed as a manager never stepped out on the floor. And the staff clearly were unmotivated to be at work. It took 20 mins to even get our drinks. When there were only about 10 tables filled in the store. I would rate this as the worst red robin dining experience ever. Just because its a holiday should not effect the quality of service I receive. Will spend my money else where next time.

The service is so bad, the food comes burned from the outside and not cooked from the inside and this happens all the time. Do not waste your time complaining because they got the rudest general manager ever!! His name is Jason and when i told him that we have not got out food yet and its been 50 mins he simply answered me (THIS IS NOT MCDONALDS) How nice is this answer and how polite and professional is this manager !!
