Recently I left a review talking about my experiences at the Big Boy Restaurant in Lincoln Park, Michigan. The experience that I had at the store in Lincoln Park Michigan was quite bluntly God awful. I complained about this experience and I am happy to report that big boy restaurants made things right as did the manager at the Lincoln Park store. I received from them a $20 gift card which I honored at this store and I must say that the service that I got at this store in Wyandotte was excellent. The food was very well prepared the wait staff and waitress was absolutely impeccable I would highly recommend anyone wants to get me to come to the Big Boy restaurant in Wyandotte Michigan. Please keep in mind this is not a fancy restaurant in Rochester Hills Michigan but it is a working-class eating establishment for those who want to sit down and have a good quiet dinner lunch or breakfast. Major kudos to Big Boy restaurants for making a bad situation into a very good one and for taking care of a loyal customer I will be coming back here.

Sometimes you just have to have a Big Boy. The food is always the same, no surprises. But our server, she was one of the worst servers I have ever had. It had been several years since wed been to Big Boys, due to the rash of store closings, and I wont be returning anytime soon. It is no wonder they are closing so many stores. Did I mention the poor service? It was after lunch time, there were only a few tables in use. My daughter thought the $1.00 tip I left was too much. But the food was served hot off of the grill. That is the only good I can say about our trip here. It is a shame that this once proud chain has become a haven of ineptidude for lousy servers. Whomever has let this franchise decline to todays sub par levels should be thrown in jail. I guess Im showing my age, but Big Boys in general, and this store in particular were once great family restaurants, though a little pricy. But combining high prices with terrible service is a death sentence. So long Big Boys, all that are left is happy memories from the days of yore.

I havent been to Big Boy in years. We didnt want to go far so we thought wed give it a try. My girlfriend ordered the Brawny Lad and it was honestly the worst looking sandwich I have ever seen in my life. I couldnt stop starring at it because it just looked so pitiful. We probably should have said something but she did have soup and wasnt hungry anymore. Im not one to complain either. I could never justify spending $6.99 on a sandwich like that. I think I would even rather go to a fast food joint and it would have been cheaper and better. I ordered cod and to my surprise after seeing hers it was actually good, but the portions are like they were set for children. It was only two small pieces and I think a third would have been justified. Service was not bad and I never tip poorly because of crappy food. Debated giving two stars but since I felt so strongly about not going back I stuck with one. I would have to see Big Boy do a major overhaul before I ever step food in this place again.

I went with my sister and niece for the weekend breakfast buffet because every now and then I crave it. Had to practily beg for everything ( creamer, napkins, water) and not because it was really busy. Coffee was terrible. I said that to my sister and table next to us chimed in to agree. Slim pickings at the actual bar.When paying my $48 bill for three meals and two coffees, the woman at the register asked how everything was. I said that the coffee was awful to which she replied that SHE liked the coffee like we were crazy. If you dont want honest coustomer feedback dont ask for it.Come here if you want to feel like youre at a buffet run by an accountant.

Friday evenings 4pm to 8pm all You Can Eat Sea Food Buffet for $14.99. I thought the food was well prepared and very tasty. The Clam Chowder was delicious! They provided Lake Perch, Haddock, Pop Corn Shrimp, and Clams. They also provided various pasta, potato, hush puppies, and salad options. A very good down to earth meal. A very pleasant experience!

We were just at the Wyandotte Big Boy waited 30 minutes snd never got waited on. We are now at Lincoln Park Big Boy, here 3 minutes and have been waited on. What get me is we visited this Big Boy atleast once a week and are considered a pretty good tipper. It will probably be awhile before we go back.

Honestly, our waitress was not the best but I heard other waitresses with others and couldnt cut back the review based on one person perhaps having a tough day. The food was good. I enjoyed the Fish and Chips and my companion enjoyed his burger.

Very expensive & small portions. We spent $45.00 for 2 big boy sandwich combos and a chicken quesadilla. The taste of our food and the quality wasnt great either. I recommend eating elsewhere.

Can not complain. Only big boy in the area that looks packed but you are in and out like there was no one there. Employees seem to have a sense of pride and respect for patrons.

We were overcharged on our bill. The management would not fix it. Couldnt even make a grilled cheese correctly, one side of it was almost uncooked. Disgusted.
