My husband and I went to the Chipotle branch at Hilliard Rome Rd for lunch today. I usually enjoy having a Chipotle meal but this particular location was unsanitary and messy. We ate in, and I immediately noticed the particles of food on the walls, sour cream and trash on the floor. I felt like I was in a hole-in-the-wall restaurant waiting for the cockroaches to come scurrying out of their dwelling. In addition, my husbands order was inaccurate and its obvious to me that this locations employees are understaffed and overly-stressed. Moreover, the food portions have become parsimonious for the exorbitant price that Chiptole is asking customers to fork over. Chipotle claims that their food is natural and organic, but I noticed today that my joints became swollen from the food. Obviously they have too much sodium in their foods now. Ive been a faithful customer since 2009 but its time to move on. Looking at the state of their restaurant, Im not surprised by the E Coli outbreak in six states that Chipotles experienced. This is what usually happens to a restaurant like Chipotle when they become popular-- the quality goes down, portion sizes go down, and the prices go up.

Went here last Friday and had a terrible experience. The girl scraped the bottom of the bucket of chicken, went back to get more, thinking she would add some fresh to it at least instead of the gooey end, but no she just kept going. Im not a complainer so I kept moving along then she had it so stuffed full of sour cream and pico that she couldnt even fold it and it was dripping/squeezing out from the sides. I asked her if she was going to be able to fit that because it didnt seem like it she said no its fine and then started to squish her fingers in it to stuff the ingredients that were coming out, back in. I was so disgusted by the end that I just told her to stop (about 5 minutes of her trying to fold this burrito) and went to Hot Heads up the street (which I am so impressed with and would choose but I had a gift card to Chipotle). I will NOT be back and threw my gift card away, its not even worth it to be that disgusted, I cant imagine if the food wasnt prepared in front of me!

Ok I travel all over and go to Chipotle all over. The staff here is consistently semi rude. I know its a busy place. So I consider the staffs stress level with how many customers move thru. However, even though I have my order prepared in my head and keep it very simple with them, (all I get is a simple burrito), They still get attitude when I ask for 4 salsas to go. Why?! What am I gonna do with dry chips?! 1-2 of those tiny cups would not be sufficient for the bag of chips. But they act like Im asking for the world. Keep in mind, Im not the one who needs you to pile on 4 feet of each ingredient on my burrito. Im not the one slowing down the line by pulling out a spreadsheet list for everyone in my work place. I dont ask for 3 burritos made a very specific complicated way, followed by 2 tacos and a bowl and bla bla bla. All I want is some salsa with my chips. So check your attitudes people. No other Chipotle in the country acts this way.

Stood around for quite a bit till a worker finally asked what he can get me. I asked for a burrito bowl and got just a bowl. Workers obviously dont listen. The lady putting lettuce on my bowl closed the lid before I could even ask for more lettuce cause she pretty much just put a sprinkle and I also later came to find out that she also only sprinkled some cheese so I had to ask for more. Later, I asked another worker for lemon and got back a lime with no explanation. Assuming he didnt understand me I took the lime and just accepted it even though it wasnt exactly what I asked for. After looking forward to grabbing some chipotle after a long work week I was very disappointed with the awful service that I got from the people working there. I felt so crappy after going what I had to go through that the my food didnt even taste as good as I wanted it too but its also probably because I didnt get what I asked for.

I just waited 30 minutes in line and they had no sour cream and no guac! In addition, the lettuce the did have was pale and half brown. It wasnt as though they had just run out because I heard the manager tell someone that 15 min into my wait. I was picking up food for my son who was at home and hungry so I wasnt leaving and driving to another one. I literally had to stop at Kroger afterwards to buy sour cream! Tell me why you wouldnt notify customers with a sign!?!? Ill tell you why...greed. They knew customers would leave. How do you run out of the basic necessities??? This is absolutely horrible service. Forget the fact that the lines get slower and slower every time I go and there are always new staff members. If my son didnt like this place, Id never step foot in it. And is it any wonder they are trying to win back customers after their PR issues? This isnt going to do it.

I love Chipotle but whenever I go to this location I have mixed feelings. If the GM Matt is in it is great! Excellent service, friendly faces, and he actually remember repeat customers! When he is not working you should just leave. The staff will constantly be fighting and arguing, they run out of product constantly and always mess up your order. I tried to talk to the manager the last time I was in but he was too busy messing around and playing jokes on his employees. He did one in particular that I found very rude, he blew air into a glove and popped it to scare employees, which normally wouldnt bother me but I was in line next to a mother with a sleeping baby. It woke the baby and he laughed even harder because of it. If this kind of recklessness continues I wouldnt be surprised if the Hilliard location would suffer.

I love chipotle but the hilliard rome chipotle is by far the worst. I go in to order and the people working there are so focused on what everybodys else is doing to focus on what they should be doing. My order always gets messed up. They are so chincy with the ingredients. I ask for cheese that means give me cheese not 4 shreds. I ask for vinaigrette put it in the bag, that brings me back to focus on your job not everyone elses. Dont roll your eyes when I ask for double chicken after I see how little you put in it to begin with. Not to mention the food line was filthy. I avoid this chipotle when possible. The staff just does not care about their jobs. You would think they would be doing better after the issues they have been having recently nationwide. All it would take is a better work ethic.
