Chose to visit this restaurant due to other reviews and not feeling like driving to our favorite place in SW Detroit. Came out less than impressed, and will not be returning. First wait was long, and avoidable. We (and several others) waited for a table, all the while looking at several tables sitting empty. Finally was sat at a table....not one of the empty tables we had been looking at. Watched staff walk past other tables needing to be bussed, not one would stop to pick up the empty dishes. Wait staff looked like they were half lost, and less than enthusiastic. Fortunately, we seemed to get the only waitstaff who had a clue what he was doing (Jose). Food: Chips and salsa was good, but not knock your socks off. I ordered a Chimichanga, husband ordered buritto dinner and extra chicken taco. He said the chicken on the taco was over seasoned, and the burittos were just okay. My chimichanga arrived, and what I received was more like a large buritto with two pieces of cheese on top (no they were not melted on). The last time I checked, a chimichango was deep fried to a crispy outer shell, and did not contain refried beans. It took long enough to get the food, so I dealt with what I was given. Rice and beans, again, just okay. Granted, I understand we went on a Friday evening, but anyone in the restaurant business will understand they need to overstaff for the possibility of a busy night. My suggestion to the owner; hire a weekend hostess and busser (only). Unfortunately, we were not impressed enough with any of our experience to give it another chance. Guess we will just have to head downtown for our Mexican cravings.

Oh! My goodness!!!! This was a great place we arrived about 15 minutes before closing and they did not care they treated us with outrageous hospitality it was such a wonderful feeling to be treated like people and not just money. The staff and management was impeccable, the food is just as great as the staff, the prices are great along with the portions. I would recommend this wonderful place to anyone who is looking for real Mexican food and a wonderful atmosphere with great people. Very social people(nice...) the chips are warm but not warm enough!! I really wanted them to burn my esophagus but noooooo!! Other then that the salsa was quite delicious I really like drinking it!! But I recommend going here on a Friday night or HUMP DAY (wedesday) You also get free tooth picks!! We love them! They are wood and thin and really pointed putting them between my teeth really grinded my gears (thats good) The Tacos taste (Idk I didnt eat Tacos) Food was not expensive or bad very good stuff!! AND VERY CRISPY CHICKEENNN (VERY GOOOOOD)

I traied a lot of Mexicans places so far this is the best authentic Mexican food I have ever had this place has to make it I have been in the restaurant business all my life and I know when someone cooks with love and this place cooks with love and actually cares about how the food looks and tastes I will be returning and I hope this place succeeds they deserve it if ur looking to eat some good Mexican food do not hesitate to try this place u will not be disappointed.

My man and I came in here for our first time on 8/15/17 around 4pm. We were seated immediately. Warm chips with salsa and salsa Verde were served within minutes. The salsa Verde was awesome. We got extra with food and even more to take home. We were extremely satisfied with our food and our waiter. Food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Not to mention priced right. Our server was wonderful. Friendly and outgoing. No complaints here. Only recommendations. We will be back.

This is our new go-to Mexican restaurant. After New Mexico in Westland was sold and became awful, we tried all the rest - this is the only one that was worth gong back to. And boy, is it! The street tacos are amazing, the fajitas are baller, my kids love the quesadillas... Its all great. My only nitpick is the music is a little too loud. However, theyre always willing to turn it down when I ask. Try Don Miguel. Its so worth it.

Under construction, but dont let that deter you. Greeted at the door, very polite, quickly seated. Chips, salsa and water came quick and were warm and tasty. Fabulous Amanda the waitress,with the great smile was fast, friendly and very professional. The prices are moderate, atomosphere is clean and cozy. The food came quick, very good, authentic and nice size proportions. Over all, a very good experience. Well be back!

I stopped in here yesterday, and I have to admit this place is fantastic. The food is delicious and the portions are rather big. So do expect to leave here with a rather full stomach and a box for all the extras. The restaurant itself is cozy, clean, and the staff are very friendly. It seems the cooks genuinely care about how the food is prepared as well. So make sure to stop by here.

Meh..Just so-so. They didnt bring any chips and salsa at all. Then when I ordered chorizo and eggs, they said that doesnt come with it. Excuse me? Every other Mexican restaurant puts chips and salsa down before you order. Its not dependent on what youre going to eat. The chorizo also had a really funky flavor. Overall not a good experience.

We love this restaurant. The owner Miguel, is great, as well as the waitstaff. The food is simply amazing!!! From the delicious chips to the array of different salsas. Weve been 4 times now. The carne asada quesadilla--- best Ive ever had. The atmosphere is festive and seating comfortable. We highly recommend this place!!!

Waiter was good, but something was off; I think he was aware that the place either isnt good or is probably for some purpose other than food. Everything else about this place was off. Stressful and annoying atmosphere, pre-flattened beverages, food was upsetting and terrible. Never again. Other reviews highly suspect.

This is my 2nd time dining in and Ive had take out twice. Today I had a steak burrito and the steak was over, the guacamole was bland and didnt offer any flavor needed more spice and lime. On my take out experience Ive had tacos steak chicken and pastor and they were AWESOME!!!!! stick with the basics

My family and I had a terrific experience at this restaurant this evening. The portions were reasonable for the price, the food was fresh, the menu had lots of variety, and the staff was friendly. My family and I will definitely go again when we are in the mood for Mexican.
