I went with my parents to village place today the staff was friendly. We were waited on and served quite quickly. We ordered 2 nachos 1 chicken 1 beef. My issues really were some of the chips were stale some were fresh it was kinda odd. I ordered the beef one which was quiet greasy the flavor was good though. On the other hand you wouldnt want dry ground beef so it wasnt the worst but Ive had better. I also keep in mind village place isnt a Mexican restaurant so next time we get Mexican I think we will try some where else. The only other thing is our waitress when my parents explained the chips were stale instead of just offering to replace the food or inform the manager she questioned it. She was like are you sure? Then asked if mine was alright. We didnt ask for new ones or even to not pay we werent trying to scam anyone just informing her so that kinda bothered me. At any rate its not a really bad experience we will just know better than to get nachos from there.

A Waterford landmark. Food is hit and miss but the service and variety are decent. I usually visit a few times a year. Recently they added a blackened Salmon salad to the menu. I would recommend it although it would have been so much better with a spring mix or romaine blend lettuce rather than iceberg. The strawberry cheesecake was not good. I incorrectly assumed it would have fresh strawberries (it is summer) or at least the strawberry topping typically on cheesecake; no to both. It had more of a fruit leather type gel on the top and the cheesecake was thick and dry. Seems like it may have spent quite some time in the fridge. Still, dont count this place out...its worth a try.

Used to go here all the time growing up and always had great food and service. My husband and I came here a while back and he had a long piece of plastic in his omelette. Even after asking for my bread on my BLT to be lightly toasted, it tore up the roof of my mouth and the bacon was overcooked. We havent been back.

My husband, his mom and I went here during the summer and I wasnt impressed; boring decor, unfriendly waitresses and the food was really bland, had no flavor whats so ever and I ordered a salad! The portion was huge but it was just very disappointing ):

My past experience, the waitress was a little rude. Hopefully that was just a one-time thing. Ive been there many other times and the service exceptional as well as the food. Its a quaint family diner.
