Wood-Fired New York Style Pizza Brooklyn Pizza is one of the only pizzerias in the Troy area that makes pizza ala New York style; Thin crust, in a wood-fired oven which always gives it that crunchy, smoky flavor. Their sauce is also very fresh & light, not spicy at all. They offer several classic pizzas: Cheese, Pepperoni, Margherita & a lot of "specialty types like: Primavera, Spicy Mexican, Prosciutto & Arugula. Our families personal favorite is the 4 cheese, which consists of mozzarella, fontina, parmigiano reggiano & marscarpone. The only way they could make this pizza better is to add in a bit of smoked gouda! The inside of the pizzeria is clean, well lit & seating is ample. You could bring your entire family & there would be plenty of space. Prices are a bit steep so beware of that. 1 large 4 cheese pizza is $18.95. Our family of 5 can easily eat two of those with only a couple slices leftover. If youre eating inside or looking for something quick for lunch you can buy pizza by the slice! They have several different kinds pre-made & they will warm them up in the wood oven before serving. If youre more into salads they have several to choose from, including "create your own", all made from fresh ingredients. Prices ranging from $3.95 to $6.95 Overall I really like Brooklyn Pizzas unique style of pizza compared to all the other places in the area that serve your regular Detroit style. The only thing I cannot vouch for here is their delivery service as we have not used it. Because the prices are a tad bit high we always opt to pick up!

We have been coming to Brooklyn Pizza for over two years now. We had company come over with expectations of a great "pie" that I described as being one of the best pizzas you will ever have. NOT THIS TIME. I had to apologize to our friends that were over, about the quality of the pizza. I was very disappointed that this arrived at our house bone cold, cheese looked like brown sludge, the crust tasted like a pie of corn meal a yeast, a chemical flavor of some sort was overpowering the flavor. The large salad, which I was told in the past would feed 4-6 was enough for one lady, not a man. I tried to explain to my friends it was better than this. They all said they will not eat from here again. I am thinking the same. The quality has been going downward since we ate there the first time. I hope in the long run it will change. Especially when pizza joints are popping up at every corner it seems like. This place you will have to dine in to enjoy the freshness of the pizza. Do not get delivery, it will be disappointing.

The pizza is very fresh, not salty and not greasy. They serve fine dining class pizza at the price point of pizza joint. Their pizza selections are not those of typical pizza franchise, which is good and bad. They dont have pepperoni pizza or Hawaiian pizza. Actually, they have many kind of pizza without meat. But again, the pizzas are fresh, and my wife liked it. And although my daughters did not love the vegitable toppings, they liked the crust very much.

Excellent pizza. It they seem to make you have to jump through hoops to get it. Whenever I order online from their crappy website the store and the website never seem to sync up b/c they always forget to make my order. Also, when I call ahead for a Pick up order, they always seem to give inaccurate quote times. So here I am still waiting over 30 mins again for a pizza they said would take 10 mins..... Not good for business owners of Broklyn Pizza

Taste was good not greasy was a bonus. Service sucked 15 minutes late on pick up Carry out. Topping looked like a two year old did it all scattered in 1 small section. And a gorilla could cut the pizza better, most awkward slice Iv ever held lol. Taste good Everything else, fail. Even the table I was sitting at waiting for my late pizza had grease all over it. Bummer, back to hungry howies!

I really enjoy their pizza but do not go to this location, instead, go to their Birmingham location. This location has teenagers working there that dont wash their hands after cashing someone out and then touch your pizza. I didnt see any gloves on site. Unsanitary. The only reason I gave it the second star is because their pizza is really good. Definitely go to the Birmingham location.

This is not your typical pizza. Brooklyn uses a real wood fired oven. "What does that matter?" you might think: A regular electric or even gas oven will cook pizza just fine. But if you want to taste pizza as the Italians do, the wood oven is just the way to get that slight char that characterizes authentic pizza. Give them a try, and I trust that youll be happy with your decision.

This is my last time going to Brooklyn Pizza in Troy Mi. The workers there were not friendly. The one last working there talked about her personal life with other customers, very loudly it. I asked for a double cheese pizza and they gave me a pizza that did not have double cheese. Usually I get good service but this is the worst

We went to the location of Troy , Wednesday at 2:00 pm to order medium pizza , the associat was unfriendly, she hardly put pizza souse , the topping was very poor and the crust was uncooked . In general it was unpleasant experience. I advise the owner to train his worker

Way over priced almost $6 for one slice of pep. w/ a can of coke. They wanted $1.25 for three itty bitty garlic knots! You have to be kidding me. No wonder their was no one else in here the whole time I was here. Save your money! Get a large hot and ready for $5!!
