Ordered a pizza, drove 30 mins to get it, got home and it was completely wrong. Waited on hold for 13 mins to speak with a manager, guy answered and said "she told me to tell you shes busy and doesnt have time to talk to you" and then hung up on me. I called back and they thought they had hung up on me again but didnt, and I heard another person say "hopefully that wasnt the girl you just hung up on calling back". I called AGAIN and waited over 15 mins again to speak with a manager. 3 times someone had come back on the line saying "thank you for calling can you please hold" and I told them I have been holding and they just put me back on hold. I finally speak to the manager and tell her what had happened and informed her what her employee told me she said. She told me that "yeah I was really busy because someone called off so I didnt have time to talk to you". Are you kidding me? That is horrible customer service. You never tell a customer that you dont have time for them because you had someone call off. Everyone I spoke with was so rude and I will never go there again. I cannot believe they feel its ok to treat their customers that way! Especially a MANAGER with that attitude!

It amazes me that this place is still in business. The children- yes, children- that run this place are a mess. Orders are frequently wrong, delivery is over an hour even during not-so-busy times, the prices change every other day, and the managers have made it very clear that customers dont matter to them or the business. I wonder if the owner knows how much these children are making a mockery of his/her business, because its just pathetic. Cottage Inn pizza is amazing, but not from here. Im going to start making the half hour drive to the next CI because this place is a disgrace to the customer-based-service business and the owner should be ashamed of him/herself for letting this happen. PS- The delivery drivers will pound on your door, and they will do it extremely hard. Beware if you have glass doors because theyre clearly trained to do this to the homes of customers.

We ordered online and the price advertised was different from the price in the cart at checkout. When my husband got there to mention it she was quick to state they havent updated the price online yet so we were stuck paying the higher price. We had paid for a side of ranch on a previous order and it was bad so they were going to give us another one on our future order and it didnt happen. Then we got it home to find bits and pieces of toppings we didnt want or like on our pizza that was cut very poorly. And while my daughter was picking off some of those unwanted toppings, she found a hair in her pizza, we were done! The place is ran by a bunch of kids and it shows how much they care by how they prepare the food. The quality of ingredients is there and I will continue to order from Cottage Inn BUT not from THIS location!

The Shelby Twp Cottage Inn Use to be good now its horrible. The employees that take your order dont get the order straight and who ever is making the pizza doesnt know what theyre doing or just dont care. I own my own business and I sure would not let employees like Cottage Inn run my business. The owner needs to be there and hire employees that care about their business. Employees that dont care about your business will ruin your business. Wake up Owners!!!!!!

This franchisee and the corporation are not on the same page. When I contacted this location about an issue I had with the rewards program, they had no idea what I was talking about, even though it is clearly listed on the website. Too many options around the area to deal with this, will never return.
