This year I am turning the big 5-0 and this was the worst ice cream I have had in all of my 50 years! I was concerned when I walked in and they were vigorously scraping the insides of all the ice cream tubes. My cone was filled with crunchy ice chips and tasted freezer burnt! I drove there and got right in my car to head home and at first I thought maybe it would only be the first few bites sadly it was throughout. A 12 minute drive later I called and told the manager. He asked if I wanted a different flavor but they were all being scraped so I declined, he said "well, sorry," and hung up! no bye, no nothing! Apparently they never scrap the sides and I had bad timing! You would think if it;s ice and not ice cream they would not scrape it in the good stuff? We will go to Baskin Robbins inside Dunkin Donuts from now on, they have EXCELLENT quality ice cream and it never tastes like ice or freezer burnt. No wonder the place was empty on a summer night!
