This quite possibly the best restaurant experience Ive ever had. First the food here is hands down the best Italian meal you will ever eat, even if you have a grandma who comes straight from Sicily. I had a roast beef sandwich that was so delicious and juicy. The ciabatta bread was so light and flavorful. It came with a side of mashed potatoes. Not the potato buds or overly smooth fake stuff but the real deal homemade mashed potatoes seasoned perfectly. The food being the masterpiece it is, is nothing compared to the service. If youre lucky enough to come over lunch. The chef will chat with you like youre family. Lastly, the quality and quantity of food is well beyond what you pay. These are good people and good-food people that run this place. They treat you like family. Do yourself a huge favor and beat a path to this place. Eat, visit and bring home something for dinner. Visit with the chef. Come back. You wont regret it.

Just discovered Verace Pasta e Olio in St. Clair Shores just north of 13 Mile Road on West side of Harper! Unbelievably great handmade meat, spinach and cheese ravioli, with the best tomato basil sauce! So very yummy I used their just baked bread to wipe the plate clean!!!! I was sad when Giglios closed in 2013, but have found a fantastic new Sicilian market!!! Cant wait to return and sample their arancini! Run, dont walk to Verace! (And I never post about food!)

This place is absolutely amazing! The owner is so helpful and so nice. I took my son in there and he was playing with him while I decided what I wanted to buy everything is so tasty I bought about $50 dollars worth of frozen food and he gave me a loaf a bread for free. Not a lot but absolutely a great guy. I will be back. The food is just amazing.

Fresh pasta and deserts, where can you go wrong. The owner greeted me as I entered, gave me a tour of his products, and even gave me a sample of the cannoli. I ordered stuffed shells and meat sauce. They were excellent! Reminds me of the old home cooked meals Ma use to make. 5 stars!

Amazing little place! Owner is always there, full of energy and making delicious food. Not a ton of room to eat but great to stop in for lunch or take a hot meal home. Also has three(3) large freezers with most of their items ready to take home and prepare are your leisure.

First time customer, Im so satisfied I cannot stop smiling and cannot explain how good I feel after eating the best stuffed shells and the caprice toasted ravioli was amazing topped with an amazingly tasting key lime pie. Will definitely be back. Makes you feel at home!

What an amazing place! not only were the sauces and ravioli fantastic but the ower was extremely helpful with all my questions and let me and my husband taste the sauce before we bought anything. We most definitely will be returning time and time again!

The rice balls we had were delicious! We took home two different raviolis and sauces for later meals--they were excellent! The gentleman at the counter was friendly and helpful, definitely earned 2 loyal customers.
