IT IS A GOOD PLACE. i was craving a piece of good chicken the way my mom used to make and then i went ina dn i didnt see any chicken at all. i asked "where is the chicken" and they said " we make it to order" with a smile,. that made me smile too. so i ordered some tenders (i dont like bones) and some of the potatos with ranch and then i sat down and watched as my chicken was grilled. i thought i saw someone stick their arm in the frier im sure they are fine and ok no ambulance was called! so when the chicken was out and the potatos i ate it. but i thought i was going to be eating live chicken (i love to sneak into farms at night and pick up the chickens and bite their heads off and eat it and then eat the rest of their body) but it still tasted good. the potatoes were AWESOME! i then asked someone for their fries and they said ok and i munched on them for a while and they were not as good as potatoes > fries for the future reference, i got a good fountain drink. it was a good drinl. i paid the fine man and then i left from the shack. the shack is where its at it gets 3/5 stars needs more live chickens, or little baby chickens.

So I go to chicken shack often and ger the 8 pc dark. I asked the so called manager (who doesnt know their menu or was not paying attention )for the 8pc he rings up who knows what. It came to $40 which was $20 more then my total bill once it was still rung up wrong. So he voids it i literally picked the menu up and pointed to what i wanted. So he gives me the receipt and i see (wc) white chicken. The 8 pc dark came with a side im guessing white meat doesnt have a side so i ask him to point out what he rung me up on the menu he said I cant white meats not on the menu sooooo i pointed to what i wanted and you still overcharged me and rung me up for something I couldnt possibly point out on the menus since its not on there. Your the manger and you rung up the wrong thing twice i usually go in the daytime i went tonight about 9. I guess they ring up what they want you to have on nights

Worst chicken shack experience ever. Called my food in 20 mins before leaving work, got there and still had to wait another 10 minutes for my food. Was charged for coleslaw I never received. Those were absolutely the worst ribs Ive ever had from any Chicken Shack location ever they were dry not anywhere close to Tender and there was no sauce on them so ever a waste of 12 plus dollars and spent my lunch break still hungry. 9/17 edit. A year later not much has changed. Walking distance from my job but rarely go here for lunch. Never get orders right!

The Worse Chicken Shack I go here normally because its the closest one to my job. But after today I will never go back. I called to place a pick up order and the gut basically turned down my order saying that all orders will take 25 minutes! He didnt even know if that would be a issue. I gave this location a 3rd chance after the last time I ordered I waited over 40 minutes only to be told my food was under the counter and got over looked. If you want bad service go to this Chicken Shack!

Their broasted chicken and potatoes are delicious! There chicken dinner meal is very good. You will have to wait 10 minutes plus for a direct order. (they have signs that warn of this)- I wish they had a tv with captions for the waiting guests instead of the radio. I have called in orders and they have been on time thus far. and the staff is polite and professional. sometimes difficult to hear due to the radio playing.

JUST had the MOST DISGUSTING customer service from a very nasty and very rude woman there. Just left left than 15 minutes ago. She was even nasty to all the workers there. As a result, I wouldnt eat here again if they paid me. The woman there should never have contact with the public and needs a total attitude adjustment. YOU just cost your employer a great deal of money. Consider driving a garbage truck!

Real food worth eating isnt prepared and served to you in less than 2 minutes so if your expecting that from here go get a "burger" from whackdonalds down the road...been here numerous times on lunch never had a bad experience, nicest chicken shack Ive seen on the inside as well, very clean and friendly employees!!!! always try to stop here for lunch if Im in the area..

My experience was Horrible. The young man on the phone was very pleasant. I arrived to pick up my order and was ignored by a very unprofessional woman who seemed older than the young men working at the facility. Its so sad many of employees have no people skills. Im sure there are many people who wiuld love to have her job!!! SMH!

Lots of tasty protein to choose from. Food is made fresh so expect about a 10 to 15 minute wait. If you know what you want, calling ahead is a great option. My wife and I always get the tender bites and shack potatoes. Lots fried food and a lot of butter is used here, so keep that in mind if that isnt your thing.

Its worth the wait. The restaurant is clean and the food is always good and fresh-tasting. Ive never gotten a fresh piece of lettuce on my chicken sandwich from any other Chicken Shack so Im glad I forgot to ask for it without it. If I could, Id give everybody behind the counter a big tip right now.

Love this place. The service is always fast and friendly. The wait can be long so calling in your order first is best. The food is delicious and always hot. Ive never had an issue with my food order being wrong so I never check it before I leave. Great place to eat!

I wanted to like this place but it was nasty. My grandchildren even hated it. Terrible cole slaw. Barbecue sauce tasted like chemicals. Long wait for average chicken. Limp French fries. Ribs were ok - fell off bone. Nothing else decent. Would not return here.

Ordered $100 of food last weekend from catering menu. Didnt provide napkins, silverware or dinner roles. When asked for a side of hot sauce, wanted to charge me. The employees working the register we ignorant and uneducated. Will NEVER go back.

So, Im here right now with my mom. Im staying because she likes chicken shack,but this Southfield location customer service is terrible. Food still was great, but customer service really needs help. Ok upon leaving customer service got better

The staff is usually rude on the phone. The food is good, thats the only reason I still go here. If the location that I like was closer to me, I would go there instead. I think that good customer service is important.

I love Chicken Shack. Im a meat and potatoes kinda girl. The broasted chicken, potatoes with the garlic butter and barbecue sauce gets me right everytime. They have other food options than what I mentioned.
