As do many red-blooded American males, I deeply enjoy a juicy hamburger. (I was thrilled my wife had our children at Royal Oak Beaumont as Red Coat Tavern is so close to it.) But most places that do a truly delicious hamburger are aimed primarily at the eat-in crowd. Who wants to stand by the kitchen to wait for a take-out burger? Burgrz cooks both a delicious hamburger and makes take-out customers feel welcome. First, they cook to order! Do you want a medium-rare burger? Burgrz is one of the few places that will prepare it that way for you. Interested in unusual topping such as onion straws, avocado, or bleu cheese? They have a large variety burger toppings. You can get your burger styled as you want it on a very tasty beef patty. (My sister-in-law raved about their veggie patty too, but I prefer to stick with beef over their options of turkey, chicken, veggie, or Boca burgers.) Both their waffle fries & onion rings are delicious. The onion rings are atypical in the amount of spiciness, but are really good if you like a bit of a kick. Split them with a friend or three. The portions are huge! The service is friendly and prompt. They even help carry out large orders to your car. What could they improve? They could have Coke products. Reading material for waiting carry-out customers would be nice. Overall, this is a fantastic addition to the Rochester Hills community. Next time President Obama comes to town, well show him we have a place that does burgers better!

Burger was OK, fries were very good, the rest just sucked. After I sat down my fries were brought directly without the burger. The burger came after about 10 minutes. I was really thrilled about that. After my burger was delivered the server started sweeping the floor around me and rolled up the floor mats and put them in the booth next to me and just then I started to feel a breeze blowing on me, and it was 19 degrees outside. I asked the server if they were closing, and she said "No, youre fine. Take your time." I asked if the door was open, and she told me it was not. She said sometimes its just like this. My food was getting cold from the breeze and I just really felt like they wanted me out of the restaurant. This place was good at one time. Steadily moving downhill.

I was anxious for Burgrz to open since Im a big fan of burgers. When I finally got a chance to go try them out on Friday night, I was disappointed. I had to wait for a long time despite the crew outnumbering the customers 2:1, and the wait was in sweltering heat and humidity - did they even have the A/C on? When I finally got my burger (blue cheese, onion straws, etc.) it was just okay. The onion straws were chewy, but the bun was nice. The waffle fries were a little disappointing - maybe a little undercooked, but definitely too cold with a funny flavor and not enough salt. A below average experience given the competition just down the street. Too bad, because I really wanted it to be great.

Great tasting burger reasonable prices. The have salads for my wife which is good because she lets me come here more often. The weirdest thing is that every time we eat here someone comes to check on us, asks us how we are doing, if we need anything else. I thought restaurants had forgotten about customer service a long time ago. 2 big thumbs up!

This place has decent shakes but the burgers are hit or miss. Occasionally the burgers are delicious but often times they are extremely greasy and not very good. Theres been multiple times where Ive complained after growing impatient while waiting for an order, only to realize the staff either forgotten to prepare it or to bring it to my table.

My wife and I stumbled onto Burgrz about a year ago and we love them. The burgers are the best around the malts are great and both the regular and sweet potato fries are wonderful. We drive from Clarkston just for their burgers. I didnt mention, we have a 5 guys just around the corner.

Burgrz was understandably average. My bun fell apart before I could really get into the burger. Dont bother putting salt on anything, it doesnt taste like much. The staff did go out of there way to hand we extra napkins and ask if I needed anything else.

Love this place! No disappointments since it has opened. I love the waffle fries, chili, and firecracker turkey burger. My kid loves the shakes. They also have these amazing chicken tenders which are coated in a delicious panko batter.

GO HERE! Weve been going since they first opened and let me tell you - you will walk out STUFFED and satisfied. Havent had anything but the burger and the waffle fries ... but why get something different it its THAT good!

It was a decent burger, not the best I have had thats for sure. What didnt do it for me was the bun. Not a real kaiser fan with hamburgers but thats just me. Would I go back? Prob not because so many choices these days.

This is a very good lunch spot. The food is unique flavor, crafty burgers and waffle fries. They do offer student discounts for the university down the road too.
