I did not have a good experience and was very disappointed they treated me I had signed on line to receive a free milkshake and informed on my arrival but due to my phone wifi on flight zone and the manager refuse to honour it However I was able to put it on phone and showed it the waiter and then the cashier came to me and also showed to her again After minutes I had the manager wanted to see it again as he did not believe it I was were embarrassed and could believe it Finally I had to tell and forget about as it was only worth 3 dollars and was not worth it and had come here with my wife to eat.This is no way to treat your customer like this Only that I had requested to have hot sauce and charged me fifty cents I have never seen this in any restaurant that you have to pay for hot sauce. This is ridiculous ??? The waffles are really nice but again the burgers were nothing expectional In fact in Toronto the Hero burgers are a lot better and cheaper At least they do not charge for hot sauce It was disappointing for us and would not go again

We havent gotten carry out from here in about 6 months and now I remember why. It isnt bad enough we have to wait when they tell us to get there in 10 -15 and we show up at the 30 minute mark but, FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY! LESS IS MORE! A MUSHROOM SWISS BURGER DOES NOT INCLUDE EVERY CONDIMENT YOU HAVE IN YOUR ARSENAL! Im not even sure what you would call this thing.....a Mushroom, Swiss, American, tomato, thousand island, WILTED lettuce, ketchup, red onion, pickles and mustard burger? Seriously?!?! Also, the cashier tries to charge me 50 cents for the mustard, if I didnt have that look in my eyes you would have! How about if it isnt listed on your own menu you dont slap it on! Or better yet ASK! NEVER EVER AGAIN! Omg! Wish I could attach pictures asked for medium rare this thing is as dark as charcoal!

Today, I ate at your Canton location and had an amazing experience with your staff. I meet Hassan and Trey who help me pick out a wonderful meal to meet my special diet. I happen to be a Vegan and I find it extremely difficult to find entrees to eat at many restaurants. However, today, Hassan took the time to ask the chef what items on the menu I could eat...considering I do not eat anything with meat or dairy. Trey came out from the kitchen area and asked me a couple questions regarding my diet and was able to put together a wonderful Vegan Falafel that was out of this world. I really appreciate all of their help and making such a wonderful meal for me. You all are great and I will be back again. And by the way, my wife loved her mushroom swiss burger.

I love going to Famous Hamburger in Dearborn! The staff is so nice, and polite. I usually get the same waitress every time, and shes so nice to me and my siblings. It is a very family like environment, you get the food you grew up eating at a top of the line restaurant. The owner is 8/10 times present in the restaurant just going from table to table making sure that everyone is comfortable and happy. I usually eat the California Turkey Melt which is soooo good! And their Cole-Slaw is the best in Dearborn! All in all, I give Famous Hamburger a 5/5 because its been a great place to eat and hang out since I was a kid. Everything about it is welcoming.

This burger joint is a hallmark of East Dearborn. For years I witnessed the evolution of this place from its humble beginings, through its rapid expansion, and finally into the gourmet burger joint that it has become. All throughout this period one thing can be certain, here you will find quality food in ample quantity. I am a picky eater myself and when I once complained of a mistake in my order, the smiling chef and owner cooked me a phenomenal replacement and personally apologized for the misunderstanding. With service like that it is no wonder this place remains a favorite destination for the hungry local and curious visitor of East Dearborn.

I dont recommend this famous hamburger because they offer one thing and give you another then charge you more than the menu and say oh thats an old menu but they can change it at any time! They offer a salad or Cole slaw then say it doesnt apply to my burger, the one they added a dollar more than the menu price! Illeagal! The place was empty for a reason! I was first the 1 customer that follows get his order first, same order! This was my first and last visit! I hate eating angry. The burger was worth $3 fries $1.50 The same people making and serving couldnt wait to run to smoke, did germs ever pass there mind? Gross place! Fem

Horrible experience! Waitress was very disorganized and rude, our food took over an hour to get to us while other tables were being served way before ours! (Discrimination?) Friend ordered the "challenger" (a 2lb. burger) and waitress refused to give him the "prize" (which was a shirt) because she "forgot" to tell the kitchen that he ordered the 2lb. burger. Our drinks came after our food and at the end of the dinner the waitress had to "re-take" our order because she forgot who had what! Not recommended!

I move to Michigan from Chicago about 2 years ago. I am 32 and I was born and raised in Chicago(the city, not burbs). I cna tell you that this is one of the few places in Michigan that not only has the feel of a Chicago diner but also the taste. When I say Chicago taste, I mean that its unique. Their burgers taste authentic and flavorful. I would only get burgers from them if I could. I wish that the 1-stars would say a little more about why they had a bad experience/food/service....

I would give this no stars what so ever. I wanted to order burgers and fries as deleviery, and when I was speaking about the Chicken Habanero burger, they said something about a dog house.... Idk, but after a couple seconds They Just Shut The Phone On Me. It was a real order, and they just called me back. Ill just find another hamburger restaurant. Ive had their swiss hamburger before, its good dont get me wrong. But the experience was a bit ridiculous.

We got carry out and were very disappointed. Their version of a kids burger is a slider . I have never seen a burger joint serve a slider as a kids burger. They charge you $3 for a watered down soft drink and give it to you in a small plastic smoothie cup instead of a soft drink cup. My kids drink came in those small white styrofoam coffee cups!?!

Better than McDonalds burger, it is hard to grill 1/3 lb. burger to medium rare and no grill marks on it make me question if it was grilled but not I am not 100% , I could not call it because it was smothered with condiments witch is ok if you looking for more on your burger but not better burger in my opinion. good burger do not need help.

First time to try it out and Im already a big fsn Loved their famous burger and their fries were great as well. The small coleslaw salad on the side was ok, but its a welcome addition nonetheless. Staff were nice and helpful. Recommended. Tries their Lucy juicy but I still liked the famous burger better.
