Ive been wanting to try this place since they opened, so after weeks or more of anticipation i placed a phone order at 7pm. I walked in and paid for the order at 7:17 and my bag was on the counter waiting for one more item. Just when they were about to place the last box in the bag the cook asked for it back, my thought is something is wrong! Then i see the cashier taking the other two boxes out of the bag and she hands them back to the cook, i didnt know what to think at that point but decided to be patient. I sat as one order after the next made it out of the kitchen as i waited looking up things on my phone. No one acknowledges my existence the entire time. Finally at 7:57 i ran out of patience and approached the same cashier who had no idea that i never got my order although i was sitting 4 feet infront of the counter. They had misplaced my receipt and gave my order to a customer dining in who had coincidentally ordered a one eyed burger and a fish burger. I asked for the manager to process a refund and rather than apologozing and offering to set things straight, processed a refund to my card in silence, then while i turn my back to walk out offers to remake my order...an hour later when my wife has been waiting in the car and my kids need to go to bed. No thanks, i will not be returning to experience more disappointment and poor customer service.

Brome is an inviting restaurant, from its eye-catching facade, to the walls and tables decorated, using live plants. They keep it pretty cold inside, so grab a sweater if youre someone who doesnt like to shiver while eating. I highly recommend the kale salad. Its one of the best salads Ive ever eaten at any restaurant. The dressing is light and refreshing, and really offsets the sometimes bitter taste of kale, as do the other fresh ingredients. Id skip the fries next time--and would especially not waste the extra money on truffle oil and parmesan, which did nothing to enhance the flavor of these overcooked, thin fries. I think they were shooting for crispy, and they fried them twice, but it only made them thick skinned, and dry and overdone all the way to the center. The burgers are hit or miss. They use good meat, but depending on the chef, they may or may not be cooked the right way. The first burger we got there had a cold, red section where it hadnt cooked properly. Probably a cold spot on the grill. The rest of the burger was phenomenal. The second time we got a burger there, it was overdone, and if itd been the first time wed ever been to Brome, we likely wouldnt return for burgers. Definitely worth a try. Especially for their kale salad and shakes.

They burned my burger, after I called it in they tried blaming me for picking it up too late (which I did but told them to wait 15 minutes before putting order in). Then said theyll replace my burger. Well, I tried getting my replacement and they said Im not "in the book". Burned to a crisp, dry as drywall, disgusting burger and unbelievably it was the service that made me write this review. I shouldve listened to the bad reviews, they are the only honest ones Ill never go there again. He tried to blame the hot lamps in the pass, they should use them to cook the burgers if theyre that effective! Edit: After Sams post in reply to my original post, I called and spoke to the manager haysam. He understood my issue and apologized sincerely. I did eat there several times before and the food was terrific but when I received two burned carryout burgers they did not replace them when my brothers went back to dine there. Sam, there was no way to get a gift receipt the first time because the food was carried out. But haysam explained that you are a great person and apologized sincerely. But I swear, thats not cool to call me a liar. Or say I had inconsistencies with my issue. Its simple, I got burnt burgers, you said youd replace then, you didnt.... Salaam.

We came in with a very large group. The staff was very professional and patient. Having frequented other halal restaurants in the Dearborn area, this was a pleasant surprise. A staff member went out of the way to come up with a desert option that was not on the menu (apples and caramel dip) for my dairy-allergic daughter. Another staff member (Hugh) offered to take our family photo when he saw we were trying to get everyone in the picture. The burgers were juicy and the taste and presentation justified the price. I enjoyed the sweet potato fries tonight but I am not a fan of the standard fries (very thin and overly crispy on occasion). The milkshakes are delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable and modern, and everything from the menu to the reclaimed wood furniture to the recycling of glass bottles on site supports the concept of sustainability and environmental consciousness. I will continue to support this business when I am in town as it is a special place and is a wonderful family treat. Kudos to the owner for creating such a positive culture in such a short time.

Asked and reiterated no pink while ordering. Got 5 burgers all super pink. Cashier said yes I heard you no pink and burgers shouldnt have been that rare. Fries were as hard as a hockey puck. Sliders and shakes were good though. Wouldnt return even if they were handing out food for free. *I had brought 2 of the super pink burgers to the cashier and told her the others were thrown away. When she came she saw the half eaten chili fries. She did give us a refund for 3 burgers and the chili fries only after the back and forth with the cook. Check the audio and video and you can see the cook was confrontational and she first offered a gift card and I said no a refund and she said ok. You say there was nothing to make us happy that day is laughable. I asked the cook all I wanted is no ponk but not burnt. But I guess at Brome that is unattainable. Five Guys which is cheaper, but not halal, does that all the time and 3 dollars cheaper. Before the refunds, we had spent over 90 dollars for raw meat and stale fries.

Nice and clean spot. My sister and I went, and we both agree that the lines were a bit confused. Probably from the tight space. I love the selection of burgers, and the Beef bacon was a huge plus for me! The Ground Beef was nicely seasoned. I had mine cooked medium, and it was perfect! The whole burger was great. I had the combo, with sweet potatoes, which appeared to be hand cut, tasted pretty good although they had salt on them, and held heat a little better than the thinner cut standard fries. My sis had the truffle fries, which were really tasty, as well. Since the leaner beef was $2 more (the organic option), it made the price exorbitant. And the milkshake I had (Reeses) was way to milky after a few minutes, so my stomach was turnt later ... And not in a good way! Lol! Overall, I recommend folks try it at least once, but I dont foresee ever going back since nothing was extremely different than lower cost, gourmet burger options in the area!
