I have ate at a variety of Chinese restaurants over the years. This was by far the absolute worst chinese I have ever had. I ordered curried chicken which should have been called curried onion since it consisted of 80% onion. I also ordered the curried onion medium spicey. My mouth was a raging inferno and a little background info I love raw jalapeño. The fried wontons were rock hard with hardly any meat in them (hardly any meat in the wonton soup noodles as well). I also ordered general tso chicken which was a glorified chicken nugget ball with sauce on it and the egg roll sitting in tsos sauce bath. My children (who love sweet and sour chicken) would not eat the sweet and sour chicken because it was soggy from the sweet and sour sauce being put on the chicken in the quart. I asked why they did that and they said that it was an option to have it on the chicken or on the side...an option I was never asked. (Btw I have never ordered a sweet and sour chicken where they put the sauce on it for carry out). Obviously my carryout experience was upsetting to say the least. I am writing this to warn other potential customers of what you might be getting into if you are contemplating ordering from here. I wanted to add that I am very serious about this as I have literally NEVER left a bad Google review for any restaurant before. I have had food I wasnt totally happy with as we all have but his was just the first time it was so bad I felt compelled to say something. You have been warned.

Figured I would grab take out after getting my hair done, and it was a total disappointment. They wouldnt substitute chicken rice for the lunch special(most places donfor a small fee,) so I ordered small of almond chicken and shrimp fried rice. The total was almost $19.00 for this. My usual place I get a large of each for that. Get the food home, and take a bite. The chicken was the driest, hardest pieces of almond chicken on earth. And the shrimp fried rice had only 3 shrimp in the entire box. And also, the rice was dry. My experience here taught me to stay at my usual place. Sad, bad dining experience.

I liked the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. I didnt like egg drop soup.... Plus the crab legs that my family tried was hard to deal with. The cost of everything was beyond what I thought.... Just crazy to see everything that high for a buffet. Even was a bit dark as you come in.

food wasnt good, no signs to suggest seat yourself or wait to be seated. We sat at the entrance waiting for 15 minutes with no one letting us know what to do. It was our first time going here and a customer had to tell us what to do no employee.

This is our Owosso favorite for Chinese food! Staff are always friendly and food is always hot. Speaking of hot, their "medium" hot is hot to us. I ordered hot once, when eating I thought my lips were in fire, and survived.

Disgusting.... absolute rip off...general tso meatball chicken nuggets? Wontons hard with no meat....broken soup container...soggy sweet and sour chicken...wonton soup had nothing but giant onions and noodles...

Fortune house is definitely the best around! Lived here all my life and hadnt really been there. Give it a chance and you will want to return, Chinese vegetable soup and chicken chop suey is the best!

WOW!!! Food is AMAZING!!!! I have been in Michigan for 7 months now and this by far is the BEST Chinese food I have had!!! Little on the pricey side but still very VERY good!!
