We had heard from several people that Lakeview Bar & Grill was so amazing.....sad to say, we were STUNNED with what happened. My Husband and I walked in, the place was quite busy but not overly busy and made our way to a high top table. We watched several staff walk by us, not one stopped to say "we will be right with you, hold on a second, give me a few minutes"...nothing. It became aparent that we were not regulars at this place - because we watched two people walk in and not even wait 20 seconds for someone to go them with menus, asking for drinks. Simply stunning. We waited about 15 minutes total - at this point it became a game to see if someone would stop - no one did. Abysmal experience, I tell everyone I know about this place. I"m certain its a great place to eat if you have the secret password to get service, and know the owners.

The only reason I am giving a 3 star rating is because I noticed nice looking steaks being served at the table next to us. It took a long time to get our beers and even longer for our nachos. They were terrible. Everything was baked together with a pool of grease on the bottom of the plate. The waitress did not thank us or say anything on our way out. They need to upgrade thier way of making beef nachos. Veggies stay fresh, meat should be drained and seasoned more. Sorry.

Hilariously poor - it feels like a scene from Kitchen Nightmares. The service is OK, but the food is very, very poor. Whats more impressive are the sheepish waitresses that slip your bill to you despite knowing full well youre not satisfied with your meal. Never again - wasted what could have been a nice evening by the lake.

Went there tonight for a late dinner and they were packed. We were told they had good food. So we waited, and waited, then waited, and waited, and waited. After two drinks, my well done steak, came raw and i left. My husband paid the bill and the owner was there and took it off the bill. May still never go back !

Definitely have to take this place for what it is. Great view of the lake, cheap beer (although not much of a selection on tap), and cheap food that comes out quick and tastes good. Dont expect a gourmet meal and tons of craftbrews but you will enjoy it otherwise.

The whole employees are very nice and welcome you like if you were walking into your own home.The atmosphere there is awesome as well as the food and has a very good view of the lake thats why its called Lakeview Bar and Grill I give it all five stars!!!!!

Great food, Rainbow Trout and redskins is always a hit. Homemade soups & daily dinner specials. Service is awesome. They have Trivia on Thursdays and, live bands on Saturdays. Local bar right across from Walled lake.

I was back in Walled Lake for my 50th reunion at the old High School. We had outstanding burgers in this old establishment which has been on this property for as long as I can remember and Im pushing 74 years young!
