First off, I want to say I am originally from St.Louis and that I am very aware of what "real" BBQ is and have been searching Northwest Indiana, Chicago, Michiana and Chicago-land for a good BBQ joint for years now. Finally I have found one, one from someone who knows what theyre doing and what theyre talking about. I had a three-meat combo plate with two sides for $15, all of which were great. Ive been searching for brisket of the St.Louis caliber pretty much since I came to this area over a decade ago, dear god is it juicy, flavorful, well cooked, and well trimmed. It simply melts in your mouth or tingles your taste-buds, pure dining bliss. The pulled chicken was tasty as well, could be a tad smokier but Im a smoker and I like smoke. I had "spooned" cornbread as well as mac n cheese for my sides, both of which I could tell were made with high quality ingredients and were as unique, as they were classic. There are 3 delicious sauces to choose from, spicy, sweet, and mustard and they were all very good, I was partial towards the mustard because I have a lot of European heritage and we just love mustardy tasting sauces in general, but all of the sauces were great. On another note, the staff is very friendly and very outgoing and talkative about their establishment, also it is in a nice location and is well kept, it looks very nice on the inside as well as the outside. My family also asked me to pick up some vegetarian options for them like the Tofu + different sides and were very pleased with it as well. This is a wonderful and fantastic find, I highly recommend this to any and every person who likes good food and lives in or is visiting the area. Im so happy to finally find good BBQ in the area, this place is a fantastic experience overall so go there as soon as youre done reading this.

Super Nice People who can really cook!!!! The authenticity of the Art of Cueing" rivals with the BEST! THE OWNERS, THE STAFF, THE PITMASTER ARE OUTSTANDING, Warm, cordial, southern style hospitable and classically trained. I traveled all over the country looking for "Good" barbeque and this is SUPERGOOD! The brisket is tender, flavorful and served up by the Most Nicest Man, I have ever met. I hate that I did not get his name but will never forget his face, smile and personality. When I met the owner, I instantly deemed him my trusted "Good Barbeque King". I loved the decorum of the business and their professionalism. No one is perfect but I could not find any part of my experiences there unpleasant or unforgivable and I am a Highly Critical person. I traveled there from Gary and dont mind making the trek at least twice a month. The quality of the food and service was consistent each visit there. I have found MY Brisket Treasure in New Buffalo, MI. THANK YOU JESUS!!!! THANK YOU NEW BUFFALO BILLS WOOD FIRED BBQ. You are really GOOD and SuperNice!!! Im a big fan of bbq and have been fortunate enough to travel the country tasting a wide variety of bbq from a big range of producers...from the mom and pop level up to the national chains. What I love about New Bufffalo Bills is its genuine attempt to get it right. This is some of the best smoked brisket Ive had in a very long time and if you were to blindfold me, spin me around three times and tell me the brisket I tasted at Buffalo Bills was from an award winning Texas establishment, Id believe you. Are there some things they need to work on still...of course...but after talking with the owner at great length, its clear he wants to be recognized for authentic bbq (he even goes as far as to use different types of wood depending on the food in the smoker) and have his customers leave satisfied. I cant wait to introduce my carnivore friends to this place. Its a real treat.

We vacation up in this area every year or so and when I saw a new BBQ joint I was determined to adjust our schedule to make a stop. Ordering is a little different than normal, more of a cafeteria style. We ordered a pound of brisket and it seemed to confuse and trip them up for a minute, but we got it straightened out. They were sold out of pulled pork (around 5pm) and some of the sides didnt look real exciting. The brisket was a little bit of a let down and didnt compare to some of the places back home. Honestly, the best value and quality on this particular day was my sons chicken finger meal. There arent a lot of choices around, so I would maybe give it another shot.

This place was super busy when I went so there was a significant wait... However, it was worth it. All the food is served cafeteria style, which makes it very quick once you get to ordering. We had the BBQ salmon and the fried catfish with a lot of sides -- cola beans, spoon bread, coleslaw and mac and cheese. Most were above expectations... The mac and cheese was not my favorite. There is beer and wine, and theres also plenty of sauces to customize your BBQ experience. Overall, while theyre not the same food genre, Id still recommend skipping Redamaks across the street and coming here instead.

Not just saying this...(because you dont throw these statements around about any slab of ribs)...these were THE best ribs I have ever had! Smoke ring of smokey delicious flavor and I had the BBQ on the side, which says a lot about how good they tasted. Mmm. My fiance had the brisket which was really tender and had that great smokey flavor as well. I would go more if I lived closer. Great choices for kids. Cafeteria style so no waiting and they have a drive-thru window too! You have to check this place out if youre a fan of great ribs! Or dont.....more for me

We would give this BBQ place more stars if we could. Hubby had the combo plate (ribs/pulled pork/brisket), I had the salmon-which was put on to smoke once I ordered it. The choice of sides (two /meal) was impressive- the usual ones you would expect in a good BBQ place plus many other heart healthy ones (hub had the greens and mac & cheese) I had sweet potato salad- soo delicious & a fab rice pilaf-all the sides we had were fresh and expertly seasoned. This is the kind of place you leave saying, "I wish I lived next door."

I should have known by the empty parking lot at prime dinner time on a Friday. The food here was the absolute worst. I had the combo plate and none of the meat had any smoke flavor. The ribs were bland and tasted like they were cooked days ago. The brisket was swimming in grease and the pork was dry and tasteless. Even the sides were horrible. This place will not be around very long. The people who gave this place five stars either have never had good BBQ or they are friends of the owner.

What a fabulous staff, My dog Max and I thank you Maria. Last weekend when visiting New Buffalo my dog Max decided to elude me and make a visit to Buffalo Bills, It was all just to overwhelmingly good to resist. The whole staff was wonderful with him and Maria called me from information on his tag and I safely retrieved my boy. I than was hooked. Made sure I brought home the combo and have enjoyed every once of it. This place is wonderful, amazing food and fabulous staff.
