Wanted to support a small business instead of going to a chain... Wont make that mistake again. I ordered a baby cone with sprinkles for my 3 year old and a small Reeses flurry for myself and was charged roughly $5 and some change. We waited almost 10 mins to get the baby cone, and my flurry never came out. We sat down and I figured it might just take longer to make, but then I noticed people that were behind us in line getting their orders. So I went back to the cashier to let her know I never received my flurry, and her and the manager (Im assuming, some 40ish year old man) started going through all the receipts like I was lying or something. He stated he "never saw an order for a flurry and he already gave me the baby cone..." Why yes, he did, but that was only half of my order. He then turned around and made it and begrudgingly handed it to me like I was a liar. Dude, Im not going to rip off an ice cream stand with my 3 year old in tow. If I wanted to rip someone off, this would be the last place. This was supposed to be our mommy-son date and my sons ice cream was already melted before I could even get mine. I wont spend another penny here... DQ here we come.

Wow, Dairy Barn! A gem in Milan. Think old time Dairy Queen and your close. This is a take out only place, but the ice cream comes in a zillion varieties, shakes, sundaes, flurries, soft ice cream, hard ice cream, frozen yogurt, banana splits, hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, and much more. This place is ALWAYS busy in the summer. I drive past it frequently and if its warm out, there will be a lineup. The ice cream is always great, the staff are friendly and people in the order line and pick up line all seem to know each other and there are usually a dozen friendly conversations going on. Its one of those small-town favorite hangouts, for good reason. I should mention that the ice cream is CHEAP. If you want a gut buster, order a LARGE anything. If you weigh less than 200 lbs and have already had dinner, a SMALL sundae will probably be all you can handle, and itll cost less than two bucks. Just Go there!

Ice cream is ok, service not so much. Gave my order to the first person to go up to the window without verifying whos it was, TWICE on two different occasions. The coney dogs we ordered were hands down the absolute worst Ive ever had. Chili was burnt and tasted awful , threw them both out after eating the first bite. Would not recommend the food,ever especially for the prices they charge.

The Dairy Barn sell many types of ice cream and other things as well. I ordered the small size of soft serve twist dipped in PB. The ice cream seemed softer than other places meaning it melted faster (which could have been just due to the weather outside). I will say the small size to me seemed larger than other small sizes of ice cream cones at other ice cream locations.

Ordered and tipped immediately. We got our ice cream, then sat out in the rain for 20 minutes waiting for food that never got made. After waiting I asked for a refund instesd and received less money than what just the food wouldve cost

Tasty items, as long as you are willing to wait half an hour or more..... Prices seem to be going up as well. Id stop here more if they hired more help! The grill closes at 8 too, which is a real let down.
