Why oh why?!: 7/11/2014 - Yet again...shorted us a Schwarma. How hard is it guys?! ---------------- UPDATE: 3/7/2014 - Messed up our order AGAIN. Rude on the phone. NEVER AGAIN! Take your business elsewhere! ---------------- The food is a 5, but their service is absolutely terrible. A few colleagues ordered lunch today and apparently messed up 4 items on our order. We called back to let them know and this is the response we get: "Sorry. We are busy right now. Come up and explain it in person." CLICK (hang up) It doesnt get worse than that. Not sure Ill be back.

This is my favorite restaurant (take-out only unless you want to take your chances with two tables). Period. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Fresh, vibrant food made to order. The best hummus Ive ever tasted. If you like middle eastern food, you cannot go wrong here. The sandwich lunch combinations are totally worth the price! Also, their catering seemed expensive until I received the food and realized Id ordered twice as much as I needed, even though everyone stuffed themselves.

Decent but in my opinion overpriced for what you get. A chicken shawarma sandwich that was plain and a little boring, small tabbouli salad which was good and a side of garlic that didnt even come close to filling the 1 oz cup with 1 piece of bread was a little over $9. If the food was better and they actually gave you a full ounce of garlic I could see that but based on what I was served it should have been closer to $7.

This is my all time favorite! Absolutely the best middle eastern food Ive ever had (Ive had a lot) I basically go there once every two weeks for dinner for my husband and I. Portions are great, prices are just right, good location and the owner is so very nice and appreciative. I would recommend Green Cedar to everyone! Thanks for the amazing food!

Huge tv with very loud music videos playing nonstop was very annoying. I had to be escorted through the kitchen to get to the restroom. Food was decent, pretty standard for Arabic food in Detroit metro area. Probably would not return given there are a few better Arabic restaurants in the area.

Amazing. You will not be disappointed! They are fast, friendly and have truly fresh, high quality food! They dont skimp on ingredients either. I got plenty of garlic sauce and pickles in my sandwich. Every bite was delish! I am going two days in a row...might even make it 3 :)

Having grown up in a largely Middle Eastern community, I consider myself quite the expert in their cuisine. This place is about the best youre going to get in this area. Period. If you are takeout, give yourself extra time. They are a little slow.

Green Cedar is our favorite. Great shawarma, hommous, pitas and garlic sauce. Theyre always friendly and throw in extra pitas if you ask. We have not found another lebanese restaurant with better hommous, period.

Great food, place gets packed with carry out orders at dinner times so expect a wait. Best Lebanese food around. Place is always busy for a reason. Common scene says check your carry out before you leave.
