I used Elite Sweets for my wedding cake. The cake was beautiful and tasty. I gave this company such a bad star rating because their business ethics are awful. Called TWO WEEKS before the cake was to be MADE to get the size decreased because a lot less people than we thought could come. Instead of working with me they wanted to make a cake for 160 vs 85. Because of this they essentially took almost $300 dollars from me and put it towards "store credit". That is A LOT of money to not give a customer back. When I went to go return a stand that I rented from them they kept my $100 deposit and put it towards store credit. So that was infuriating. The ladies in the front that deal with the public are great, its the owner that is a piece of work. He would make decisions then send the ladies out to do his bidding so he doesnt get the heat from it. I am bummed that I have almost $300 I have to spend there because I really dont want to do business with the owner again. The cake was delicious but other places with better business also have good cake. Just sayin. I wouldnt recommend Elite Sweets to friends or family.

I had ordered a Mozart Cake for my sons 21st Birthday party. The day I was suppose to pick up the cake, I waited in line for about 10 minutes. When it was my turn, I was told that my cake was sold 5 minutes earlier because they didnt think that I was coming. (I had been there in line for 10 minutes and did not see anyone buy it while I was waiting, and did not pass anyone in the parking lot on the way in) So there I was, had ordered a cake earlier in the week, and had a house full of people coming and NO cake for my sons 21st birthday dinner party. I wont go to Elite Sweets again.

I got torte and sheet cakes for my wedding and it was so amazing and the best possible price if you get sheet cakes, instead of the fancy kind. They are nice but they are a small place! give them a break. they couldnt deliver my cake on the 4th of july but who cares its the 4th of july no-one should have to do that! We picked up the cake the day before and it was amazing, everyone love it and the chocolate smell filled up the whole hall before anyone got there.

Do NOT go here. I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday party and it looks nothing like the picture I sent them. I went out of my way to go here because of the excellent reviews. Sadly that was a mistake. Now I have wasted my money on a cake that is not what I want. I could have gotten a better looking and certainly cheaper cake a Sams Club. Trust me dont waste your time here.

We have been coming to Elite Sweets for 20 years! My daughter would not have settled for anything less than Elite Sweets for her wedding cakes! Their cakes are beautiful, flavorful, and luxurious! The owner is very generous, he has donated cakes to the Livonia high school All-Night parties for years. They create the desserts at many fine dining facilities too. They are THE best!

we got a birthday cake from there last year. it was hazelnut i believe. they drew fire trucks and ladybugs. the cake was delish. the drawings were very good too. we ordered 2 weeks in advance and got it the day of the party. the only issue i had was ordering....the store is small, not much space to talk/order/ask questions, a little uncomfortable. great products though!

The first time we experienced and Elite Sweets cake was at a friend of my daughters graduation party several years ago. When we arrived the kids were all talking about how good the cake was. Since then we order their cakes for every special occasion. My kids ask for them. I just called today and ordered one for my moms birthday. We have never been disappointed.

Elite Sweets really outdid themselves with the last cake, so much I had to leave a review. We asked for a farm themed cake for my sons party, I sent a few ideas to them, and the final product looked so amazing. It tasted even better than it looked, like all of the cakes weve gotten there have tasted. Even those that say they dont like cake loved it.

I ordered my wedding cake here in July 2010 after a friend highly recommended it. Excellent service and delicious cakes at reasonable prices! I wanted a grand piano cake for the grooms cake and musical notes as the cake topper, and Rose, the designer, did an excellent job on both! We only had a few pieces of cake left after the reception!

Great, beautifully crafted cakes for birthdays or any other occasion if youre willing to pay $20-40 for one. Theyll personalize the cake right there and always do a great job doing so. They charge a premium to pay with a credit card, which is annoying but irrelevant to the reason youd go there in the first place.

The tortes from Elite Sweets are fantastic. My friend surprised me with a cake from here for my birthday - beautiful and delectable. I had another sampling at a benefit dinner and had to find this place to share it with others. We will be back for more. The cakes taste wonderful...you will not be disappointed.

Just told my fiance they dont deliver cakes, perhaps because our wedding is in Detroit? I called back and asked about a delivery to elsewhere, and they said yes. Thats unacceptable. If youve got a better reason, Elite Sweets, wed love to know it.

Great Cakes and a large selection. Have been buying cakes for over 3 years there and have not been disappointed yet. All my guests always ask where I purchased. All have been delicious. Reasonable prices. Baileys cake is our favorite.

I have been cake tasting at several top bakeries in the Detroit area, but none can compare to Elite Sweets. I went with my mom, uncle, and fiance to taste test and we all agreed: this place is amazing!

I had a cake done for an event here. 60 people. Everyone was very impressed with the cake. Tasted great and looked lovely. Great customer service. The only thing is that they should deliver.

Have bought cakes here over many years. Good flavors but way too much frosting. In some cases the frosting is much thicker than the cake and underlying cake is misshapen.
