The Looney Baker has, hands down, the BEST donuts in town. Ive tried other donut places, and nothing has ever compared to these. They make them fresh each day, and will be warm if you go in the morning. Unfortunately, this means that they tend to run out of popular varieties at night, especially on weekends, but that is well worth the freshness of the donuts. The reason they get 4 instead of 5 stars is that their coffee isnt very good. It is extremely cheap, so I drink plenty of it when I go, but I would recommend expanding their coffee selection and offering a more expensive and better tasting option, in addition to the unlimited-but-not-very-good coffee they currently serve.

I went thought drive today about 3:30. I broke left ankle and had cast and had help went I left home and was getting help where I was going when I got there. Drive Thur slow and I had empty cup and needed to get rid of it to put coffee I purchased at their drive Thur. She said she wasnt allowed to take trash and their was a garbage can by entrance. Door! I was unable to do that and told her I had cast on. I not able to put any weight at all on my leg. I thought it was very rude and she could have done it. My sister, me worked here and even my mother work there short time after she retired from her job waiting for my dad to retire. Thank you so much for your kindness

Just GET YOUR BUTT to this place and TRY The Looney Bread! Its considered a "local sweets delicacy" if your form the area and trust me, youll SOON know why once you taste it! PURE self indulgent HEAVEN! EVERYTIME I come back home to Michigan, I have to stop in and get some. Be warned: Get there early! Some days, especially weekends, they can run out only making a certain quantity for that day. They advise you to call ahead and order. Which it what I do now when Im in town! ENJOY!

First time here. I was greeted by a smiling women behind the counter. She eagerly received my order, and offered to cut the bagel I ordered for my husband. I bought a dozen cake donuts of different flavors. I also bought a chocolate cream for myself. It was delicious, the buttercream filling tasted just like mine. I was thoroughly impressed. On a side note my ten year old nephew gave me a thumbs up for his double chocolate cake donut. All around good first impression.

I went there at 11PM alone, with a book. At first, I was thrown off by how busy it was, but I holed myself up into a corner and had a decaf coffee and was given a free glazed donut with the purchase of said donut.. I stayed for two hours and felt welcome the entire time, as theyre open 24 hours. For a wayward 20-something, this was definitely a place I could call home.

Been going here for years, ask anyone that lives in or near Livonia, theyll tell you Loony is the bomb. Open 24/7, theyre always whipping up delicious doughy goodness even at 4am. Come early, real early, to get em fresh. The owners are the nicest and most generous around. If any food place in Livonia holds the heart of the city, its here. 10 Stars.

Their donuts may be good but their customer service has a lot to be desired...especially if you call them on a mistake that they made involving accuracy of an order. They feel that they can afford to lose a customer. So for me...it was a deal breaker. "One customer taken well care of could be more valuable than $10,000 of advertising."

Fresh delicious donuts that are made on site every night. The glazed sour cream, peanut butter & jelly, chocolate frosted cherry and their large cinnamon rolls are my favorites. Oh and the looney bread is awesome and unique. Get there early in the morning for super fresh amazing donuts and pick up a punch card (free dozen donuts).

There are not nearly enough cozy little coffee-and-donut shops like this in the world. Theres an actual counter where you can sit and drink coffee and read the paper (or surf your smartphone), and theyll come by and refill your cup with a smile. There is a drive-thru if you are in a hurry. Cherry and Blueberry donuts are the best.

First the young lady behind the counter was extremely nice and helpful. I stopped in to get a sandwich and soup. I choose her pick of a turkey sandwich and told her to surprise me with the type of soup, I got minestrone. Both are absolutely DELISH! They taste like I went to a deli to get them, with the deli price.

Go only if there is no other place nearby for coffee/light snack. I asked for a hot chocolate and the lady who was serving had to shake the machine vigorously to get it to work! I then asked for a piece of cake and was given the cake on a piece of paper. I guess I wont be going back there again.

I cant believe all the positive reviews for this place. These donuts are very average. They are the same style and taste as Dunkin Donuts and the prices ($1 per donut) are the same as well. Its not worth it when there are other legit options (like Dough Boy) for less money and better donuts.

Its right next to the church Ive been going to since the 6th grade, so I have a lot of fond memories walking there with my Sunday school class. Now I keep that tradition going by walking there almost every Sunday with my fiance or sister for our pre-service doughnuts!

Nice place that has great donuts, but sometimes this place has practically nothing available. Bit unfortunate if youre craving donuts, and all they have are empty trays. However, when they do have donuts, theyre amazing.

I love this place. Prices have remained very fair for donuts and coffee, staff is always friendly, donuts are always fresh. I also appreciate that they take credit cards which many family donut shops do not.

Place was described as the best bagels and donuts in the area so I thought i would give it a try. It did not live upto the hype. The fresh bagels were cold and dry and the donuts were average.

This donut shop is 24 hours, 7 days a week. Making it the perfect place to go late at night when you dont feel like going to the bars or a restaurant. Also, they allow smoking. A big plus for me.

Nice people, good donuts. The donuts are a little small, but there only a dollar, so no complaints. They have some bomb chocolate milk though. Would recommend.
