I just moved to the Lansing area about 4 months ago and now that its heating up Ive been looking for a good ice cream place. After being subjected to the malls overpriced and underwhelming ice cream shop for a while I stumbled upon Twisters on Waverly. Not only are they VERY reasonable in price, but their ice cream is AMAZING! Theyre leagues above Dairy Queen and the other knock offs... Twisters is REAL soft serve, the way it was supposed to be. They even have frozen yogurt for those wishing to watch their calories :) I highly recommend eating here if youre in the mood for soft serve and want good quality and reasonable prices!

I posted a review for this place on Facebook as well. Old school ice cream counter with great variety, service and the products served are of superior quality. Yes, its an old concrete building with minimal outdoor seating, but Ive always been treated here like a very valued customer. Highly recommend on a hot summer day.

I think they do twisters (blizzardsmixers) the best hence their name. They do not skimp on toppings and I have never been disappointed. I have ventured out of those to try a couple other items like coolers and their frozen yogurt and not really enjoyed those items. I have not tried their sundaes yet.

This place stays open so late, just right for those late night cravings. All the ladies there are so nice. The ice cream portions are huge. My kids love going there for a weekly treat. You must try the Super Bowl...its a banana split and brownie in a bowl. Awe-some!

Waverly Twisters is by far the best. Consistently good every time plus the crew is friendly. Not sure why but the one on Cedar needs to step it up, every time I go to the cedar location its different.

Delicious! My favorite is the brownie sunday! Really good prices too. I just wish people wouldnt smoke in the outdoor seating area since its such a small area. I love that they have a drive through.

Quick service, friendly staff. Soft-serve (and flavorburst) ice cream, sundaes, smoothies, flurries. Reasonable prices and a good variety. Personally love this place and go all the time.

We love Twisters. I especially like that they have no sugar added yogurt. You are never dissapointed with what you order here. They have delicious flavors and big portions.
