This is one of my favorite places to go to in Kalamazoo. I love the environment! The speakeasy theme gives you an upscale feel and a unique experience. My friends and I love to venture up to Gatsby for a night of dancing and elegance. We usually wear a party dress to this bar! It makes the whole experience more exciting. It has a unique setting with lush and modern décor/furniture pieces, sexy lighting and an wicked cool glass fireplace near the dance floor. My advice? Bring back the food menu! The food was the BEST here--Quality met quantity and the flavor was outstanding.

The Gatsby is my favorite level of the Entertainment District. The style of 20s/30s with a hint of a modern feel to it is something different, and creates a perfect atmosphere. The bartenders are real cool guys and make great drinks, and the music mix that is played in the nightclub, is perfect for both ; people who just want to chill with friends,and who want to dance and let loose. Its classy and also a riot. Its hard to pull off such an atmosphere.

The Gatsby is the best spot in downtown Kalamazoo to DJ-dance. The swanky, intimate atmosphere makes you feel like youve walked into a hoppin prohibition-era speakeasy — straight out of the book, "The Great Gatsby." Also, there are some great bartenders here, but the guy who goes by the name "Squirrel," is particularly awesome!

The Gatsby is unique to downtown, much different vibe than most of the other bars around. Go in for a drink and chat with an interesting new stranger, or take in the gorgeous view of downtown through the full length windows; Gives a big city vibe from the view.

The worst place iv ever been and iv been to Mexico. The management is clueless and rude beyond belief! Smells bad, dark, and again the management too stuck up to help because of there "im better than u attitude".
