Terrible experience from the start. Our server, Spencer spilled about a quarter of my water when he sat it down in front of me. I understand that accidents happen, but neither did he acknowledge it nor did he apologize and bring napkins to wipe up the mess he made. The quality of food was terrible and over priced. My wifes chicken in her stir fry was like eating rubber and non editable. I have had better burritos from Qdoba for half the price. We waited at least 10 minutes before Spencer came back to check on the food. My wife explained the poor quality and they did nothing about it. I normally do not complain about food so I didnt say anything about my burrito. However, an attentive server should wonder why only one bite was eaten from it and when asked if a to-go box was needed the customer said no. I would never recommend that anyone go to Sundance for a meal.

My boyfriend and I decided to try this establishment for dinner while in Grand Rapids. There were definitely some pros and cons. The Pros: - The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. - The evening lighting was superb! It made for a great, relaxing ambiance. - The restaurant was very clean and obviously loved by the owners. - The decor was both cute and festive. - Our order was placed quickly and food brought out promptly. The Cons: - The dinner is extremely over priced for the quality. Honestly, we could have made the food we ordered at home for a lot cheaper and probably with more flavor. All and all, it was an okay experience. The staff and atmosphere was definitely the best thing about Sundance Grill.

The big cinnamon roll was good, but that was the only decent thing here. Since I already had breakfast and it was lunch time, I ordered the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap. It came with a side of tortilla chips and salsa. The chips were ok. The salsa was bland and had celery in it. Any other salsa Ive had has never had celery in it. It was off putting. The wrap was less than satisfactory. The chicken was grilled, yet it tasted like it was boiled with no seasoning. It was supposed to come with avocado ranch dressing, but I couldnt taste it. They either forgot or put the worlds thinnest layer in the tortilla. The lemonade was heavily watered down, so all I could taste was city water. Ill stick to the Omelette Shop.

When I go there the service is good and the food is decent. When I order to go I do not get any service at all. It is like I am bothering them. I got my scrambler today in a bag to go sideways. The whole entire scramble was smashed down on it side. How can the waiter not think this was bad. As he gave it to me I asked if that was sideways and he spoke over me and said thank you come again like going through the motions. Very disappointing this morning.

Excellent food, good atmosphere. Gets really busy at peak times but the staff is pretty attentive. I give 4 stars and not 5 because its tight - weve sat at several tables and always feel like were pulling in our elbows as people pass. Absolutely no space to wait for a table, unless you stand outside. The last few times weve visited, extremely pretentious customers with terrible attitudes have made it hard to wait.

Made it in three minutes before happy hour ended and they still have me the discount. Prompt seating. Prompt and attentive service. Good food and generous portions. The menu has a Southwest twist. I got salmon street tacos, not authentic by any means but was tasty nonetheless. Their margarita list is unique with flavors like blood orange and prickly pear. I would like to come back to try the rest of the menu.

Good breakfasts & big selection. Bacamole omelet is great! Dont really like their breakfast potatoes (honestly just deep fried potato cubes) so I try to avoid entrees that come with them. We ate here once for dinner & will never do that again! They add Rosemary to their fries & its so gross!!!! The prices are high, we usually spend $50-60 for breakfast for a family of 4.

Im shocked by how much positive reviews. I guess its because service is kind. Food is less than average. I asked for a Michigan Cherry Salad and literally it came with a block of nuts, a block of blue cheese and a noticeable old grilled chicken, served cold. My buddy had a hamburger that I tried. It tasted like GFS food. Prices are kind of compatible with quality.

This is a great place to have breakfast. The food is good and there is a varied menu to choose from. I found it interesting that the water and coffee were brought out in pitchers for us to keep our drinks refilled. It was pretty convienent. Overall, nice atmosphere, great food and decent prices. I would defiantly patronize again.

Stopped in for lunch with my girlfriend, they were busy but there wasnt a wait. Food came out pretty quick and the service was excellent. I had a burger with pulled pork and BBQ sauce which I very much enjoyed. Ive eaten here before and would recommend it if youre on the Cascade side of 28th st.

Trendy spot with Mexican-themed decor. Strip mall location with an outdoor patio. Pros: Pleasant, friendly, & very accommodating waitstaff, well stocked bar, looked to be clean, even the restroom. Cons: Average tasting food at above average prices, food slow to arrive.

Ive been to this location twice and the downtown location once. Ive had their steak and eggs breakfast, delicious. And their BBQ burger which was huge but good! Last time I got the quesadilla and it has way too much spinach and not fresh mushrooms. But its still good

Great service, strange atmosphere for West MI (not bad, just not what you would expect), but the food was good. Its like Southwestern food. I had the Chorizo tacos, very delicious, but also very rich in flavor. I could not finish them. I recommend for breakfast.

Cook overdid my burger in our servers opinion and the server had him make another without my request saving me from an overcooked burger. Extended the wait but kept the experience nice.

Service was slow....server didnt even tell us about happy hour specials until 6.01 pm and they had ended at 6.00. Too late.....no exceptions!

Great value. The Cherry wrap had a great flavor and the fries were ok. Nice space with good seating, though the decor felt a little dated.

EXCELLENT FOOD! (The corned beef is some of the best Ive ever had!) Great service! A little pricey but definitely worth it!

Had the fish tacos. Food was great. Staff seemed a bit slow and distracted, otherwise, it was a pleasant experience

Good food, fast attentive service. Limited beer on tap, but the dining party all enjoyed their entrees.
