The featured Portabella-Burgundy 10 oz. ball tip sizzler was delicious! Such aromatic and fresh flavors, no overpowering seasoning to cover up the natural taste of the meat, potatoes and string beans. Delightful! My friend had the Sweet Carolina Chicken... HOLY cow the flavors of that dish! Certainly a complimentary sauce to the chicken and jasmine rice, you could definitely taste the food and not just the seasoning. SUPERB! The Pianist was fabulous! Requests are welcomed and the environment is fun and inviting. Definitely a good place for laughs and welcomed sing along opportunities, even if you are like me and sing because you love to, not because youre marketable. I will definitely go back, my friend and I had a memorable time at Monaco Bay. The staff was phenomenal and extremely welcoming when we came in, also inviting to return as the door was held for us when we left. Wonderful night! Perfect atmosphere for Martinis, laughs and creating memories.

I would recommend Monaco Bay to anyone, its a nice place to unwind at. The Dueling Pianos are really what makes Monaco Bay Unique. Service is both fast and filled with friendly faces, and decently priced too, considering where your at, a bar. Parking is close too, which is very beneficial on a rainy day. I have never encountered anyone "acting up" here, and if they are then the staff must take care of it fairly quickly, because I have yet, nor have any of my friends noticed this sort of situation. If your looking for a regular place to hang out I would highly recommend this bar, due to its ability to give a fun, comfortable, entertaining place to hang out.

I make a visit to Monaco almost Bi-weekly. And every time I arrive, I am greeted by entertaining music, smiling waitresses, and a fun environment. I love all the establishments within The District Square, but Monaco Bay is my favorite, by far. The Dueling pianos are always enjoyable, and they switch around the pianist pretty often. Hearing the crowed sing along to Bon Jovi, is probably on my list of top moments at District Square. I recommend Monaco Bay to anyone, young, and old. I often see both college students and older business men/woman sitting near one one another, proving that Monaco Bay is truly from anyone.

The service here is awesome! I never have to wait long for a drink, and the margaritas are pretty good here. The menu is interesting. I wasnt the biggest fan of the island-style cuisine, but I surprisingly enjoyed my dish--Caribbean Jerk style chicken with rice and a veggie. I love the environment here. It has an upscale feel with a moderate price point, especially compared to several piano bars Ive been to in Detroit and Chicago. It allows you to enjoy city luxury and a lower cost. We love this place!

A place with a great idea thats terribly executed. They are always fairly empty, and I can see why now. Visited with my family this past weekend and was turned away due to wearing a Flat-billed hat. Was told to bend my hat or could not enter. I could understand a No hat rule, but a No Flat-billed hat rule seems to be a way to discriminate. Will not be ever going back. Their loss of the $30 in cover charge they turned away from my family and I and the additional money in drink purchases turned away.

If youre familiar with the crowds at Joe Louis Arena singing along together to a Journey song and that gives you goose bumps then you should probably check out Monaco Bay. The vibe is great and the drink specials really help loosen your vocal chords. And the best part is that the professional singers drown out all the people like myself who think theyre qualified to do a cover of a Bruno Mars song.

Way better than the Wild Bull in every category. Ive had amazing service here and horrible service here, so it really depends. The people on the piano are so amazing though and they make it fun and involve the crowd. Drinks are pricey. I spent $200.00 in here one night, but that also included food, tipping the piano people and buying some shots for my friends going away party.

Fantastic prime rib and grilled asparagus! Love it when Matt Giraud is there!! The sky deck is cool, too windy to eat up there however, and the stairs from the elevator are too much after 2 knee surgeries. Eat early. It gets deafening loud and packed shoulder to shoulder with college kids as the night goes on. The dance floor is too small, I like the outdoor area on the side.

I love this place!! Ive never eaten there just went for drinks. It gets really expensive at 6.00 a drink and tips. Only bad part!!! IF YOU OPEN A TAB MAKE SURE YOU CLOSE IT WHEN YOU LEAVE!! if you dont they charge a 5% tip to your total. So if you were tipping the whole time they take more, or if you had bad service they are still taking your money. I found out the hard way.

I had my wedding reception at Monaco Bay. It has a beautiful atmosphere and is ton of fun for everyone. I received a lot of great compliments from my guests on Monaco Bays food, entertainment and friendly staff. People are STILL talking about the red mashed potatoes and Smoked beef brisket. VERY flexible with great options and prices!

Never had a good experience. Everyone that works there are poor in customer service and very rudely. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. After about 2 drinks i lose my appetite for the place and stick to what I know and like; ruperts, shakes, campus, bells, old dog (sometimes), etc.

I love the entire Entertainment District. Atop Monaco Bay is Skydeck, one of the most unique bars in Kalamazoo. Some of the greatest memories I have with my friends were made up there. The atmosphere makes you feel like youre in a bar outside of Kalamazoo, not to mention the awesome view.

Sysco burger on Sysco bun with Sysco lettuce. And for the lady, Sysco pasta in Sysco sauce with Sysco chicken. Piano player was OK. Not great, not really even good, but OK. Three drinks minimum to truly appreciate all that this place has to offer. All in all, its exactly OK.

I was not overly impressed with this place. They charge a cover most nights and it is so loud in there because of the pianos that I didnt want to stay long. The dueling pianos were pretty cool (-the inability to talk to your date) and the service was good.

Pretty cool place and surprisingly inexpensive. Ive been going here since it was called Rum Runners back in the day. The dualing pianos are awesome. A perfect place to bring your friends or family from out of town to show them a good time in Kalamazoo!

Basically a scam. Pay $10 for any 5 bars, what they dont tell you is that if you set a foot outside of the bar they make you repay cover to come back in. Wristbands dont mean anything, theyre just trying to grab money. Never go here

A great place to start the night if youre not from around. There are breweries all around Kzoo, but this place offers more of a lively cocktail bar vibe. Theres great people watching here!

This is a great place to go in Kalamazoo for a fun night out, birthday, or big party. The piano players are so talented and are hilarious. The specialty drinks are delicious!

Salmon was dry, sides were lackluster, disappointing. I would not recommend eating here unless you are strictly sticking to bar food and youve had a couple of drinks first.
