Service was probably the worst I have ever experienced. No clear direction if you were supposed to order at the bar or wait at a table for service. Waited for several minutes at our table as we saw others ordering at the bar. Younger female was the only server, she looked as if she had no clue what was going on; watched multiple patrons receive wrong order then food be moved to anothers table. Bearing in mind, the wrong patron had already touched the plate. We waited over an hour for food, while the Café was not exactly busy. Disappointing to say the least.

Cold brew coffee on nitro! Need I say more? The cold brew is amazing, but if you dont need the pick-me-up, the beers are pretty good too. It depends on what you like, the Shine On IPA is my choice and it went down smooth. I havent sampled enough of the food, but the breakfast portion is just as good as mom used to make. The atmosphere is laid back and you can usually have a real conversation with the bartenders/baristas. Only downside for me is the hours. Im a night owl and theyre only open till midnight on weekends. Something I can get over.

First time here for breakfast / lunch. So quaint & very low key. Sat at the bar, both staff members were incredibly nice & helpful. I got the good turkey, and tried the southwestern scramble. Both were fantastic. The nitro cold brew coffee was AWESOME. First time trying the nitro coffee and my Gawd, delicious as is. (Normally I sweeten & cream the hell outta my coffee) The tea infused amber was complex & well balanced. It was good but.. Im excited to see what they come up with next. I highly recommend this place.

I was there for a little while but I loved the place. It is a simple laid back place. They also serve food - mostly delis. I had only one beer - "Fearless the Idiot". This is an IPA and I liked it. The beers are pretty cheap and they have different sizes of glasses that makes your choices easier. The bar tender was friendly and the crowd was also cool. I think there are board games too if you want to make your time more exciting! I will love to go back!

Excellent beer ...some of the best in Kalamazoo! All presented in a fun and festive atmosphere in the heart of Kalamazoos Southtown district. Many other really good items to keep people engaged if not a craft beer lover ...fantastic coffee, tea, and food too. Plenty of "merch" if youre into collectibles. Easy to get to ...short walk from The Kalamazoo Mall, and plenty of parking. A "must do" in Kalamazoo!

My parents and I stopped at Brite Eyes on (I think) a Sunday afternoon. I had a pint of the ale that had a hint of maple syrup taste. It was delicious. I cant remember what my parents had. I also remember us trying a nitro-brewed coffee, which I have never heard of before. That was also delicious. I am glad that the area is opened on Sundays, because not too many businesses are.

This place is great! The beer is excellent and the other drinks offered provide a good selection for non-beer drinkers (my espresso was fantastic and they also have tea, cider, wine, etc). The sandwich (on homemade bread with the dill sauce) was amazing! If I lived in town I would definitely join the mug club.

Came here for brunch last weekend. The nitro coffee is delicious and so was the farmers scrambler I got. The ingredients were fresh and portions reasonable (no need for a 5 egg scramble people!) The staff was super friendly and the building itself has a cool vibe. Need to go back and try the beers now!

Unique atmosphere, beer and people...In the best way possible! Coffee and food are excellent as well. You dont get the full Kalamazoo brewery experience without coming to Brite Eyes.

The atmosphere was relaxed, the beer was good, but my favorite part was the steak sandwich with caramelized onions.
