One of my new favorites in Kalamazoo! Not that they are new, it just took me a long time to have a reason to try them. Located near the Vine neighborhood, this shopping strip has something for everyone: a great pizza place, a record store, taco stand - and a GREAT bagel and coffee joint. The bagels are top notch and the cream cheese flavors Ive tried have all been delicious and made with care. The java is terrific too. Great college campus feel - lots of students, but also lots of locals.

Dont get me wrong, there are few places better in Kalamazoo to get a bagel. But the prices are getting higher and higher and when compared to other bagel places in Kalamazoo like Big Apple Bagel, its hard to justify the cost. Only go if your looking for the absolute best, otherwise settle for Big Apple.

One of the people in the two murals inside the café is different from all the rest, and he is smiling, behind the counter, washing dishes. Its a rather "filtered" perspective on the local community, isnt it? I hope they keep doing bagels well, but consider giving the walls some new art. Its embarrassing.

Their custom blend coffee selection is on point. About 5 different varieties to choose from daily. They serve Magnum espresso in their lattes. Its good stuff. The chorizo and pepper jack breakfast bagel is good. Limited seating.

Great little shop for bagels. They have a wide variety, and are typically well stocked on all of their bagels. My wife is from New York, and she says these are the closest bagels to the ones she can get from home.

Had lunch with a buddy, and the service was excellent, the prices are fair, and the place was clean. Service with a smile but no napkins. Over all, not a bad place to have lunch.
