I heard great things about this restaurant and as a Mexican food connoseur from CA, I couldnt wait to try it. The pros- Carne asada taco, very tasty and perfectly cooked but pretty dang salty. Our waitress and the staff were friendly. Wait time wasnt bad at 5pm on a Thursday. The taste of the Chipotle chicken in the burrito I had. The rice had a nice spice. The rice is better than Sagebrusha bland rice. The cons- The chipotle chicken burrito I had was covered in a gross, creamy cheese sauce. I ended up just taking the chicken out of the burrito and eating it straight because the cheesy sauce was overpowering in a bad way. The salsa for the chips. The salsa is fine, its just really tomato flavored with no spice. Sagebrushs salsa blows this salsa away. The menu. There were several pictures of food on the menu that I inquired about, wondering what dish the picture was showing because the food in the pictures looked delicious. Sadly, our waitress said they were just stock pictures that werent of their food. The enchiladas- my wife got the enchilada dish with 4 different fillings. I had a couple bites of a couple of her enchiladas and Sagebrushs enchiladas have so much more flavor and quality. My wife says the chicken enchilada was good but the cheese was too creamy in the other enchiladas. I would rate our only experience here as a 2 to 2.5 out of 5. I had such high expectations that were not met. If others want me to go to this restaurant with them, I would return and know to stick to the Carne asada tacos. However, my wife and I will continue going to Sagebrush because of the overall better taste.

I hate to say this as I was looking forward to some good Mexican food. Pros It is very close drive for us. Fried Ice cream Cons The food is way to salty. I had the burrito bandera and it was like eating a salt lick. It covered the other food flavors. It had nice big tomatoes and green peppers were crisp. All for not as the salt was overpowering everything. Almost uneatable. The service was lackluster. It wasnt busy and they seem understaffed. The cashier is the same guy as the Hostess so it backs up for no good reason other than lack of workers. The waitress brought our chips and salsa and they were both ok. Need a few more varieties of salsa like a hot and mild or medium. Then she took our order and never returned until food came. We asked for more and they did bring it out pretty quickly. After we were done eating dinner she immediately walks up and hands us the bill. Didnt even ask if we wanted desert. We were kinda stunned by that. She said she usually does but nobody ever wants any...... Surprise we did. Daughter wanted to try the fried Ice cream. That was good. A shame this place could be a really nice place just needs some better cooks/recipes and better service.

Havent had Mexican this good since El Potrero moved out of Holly. The chips are good and the fresh salsa is delicious! The heat of the salsa depends on the jalapeños, so if you want something hotter, they will make it for you. Sometimes for me it isnt very hot and other times its perfect. My favorite right now is the grilled shrimp chimichanga. All I can say is yum! The Maya Rivera Fajitas and the Mexican combos are all fantastic as well. If you like Mexican, give this place a try!!

We threw a fiesta themed party for my sons first birthday. Wanted to have it catered and decided on Cancun. I was so glad we did! We worked with Guillermo and his staff. It was hassle free, timely, more than enough food, and of course great tasting! Best part was that it was all done with a smile. If your planning a party and want it catered I would definitely recommend Cancun!

Food is usually decent here, but there are definitely better restaurants in the area. Be careful about what you order here though. Some items on their menu are not scaled to their price. My $10 Chipotle Quesadilla was smaller than what you would get at Taco Bell (the Quesadilla was the size of 1 small taco) However their $11 Fajita Quesadilla is the size you would expect.

You guys need to step it up.... ur supposed to be authentic yet buffalo wild wings has a better (WAY BETTER) conqueso dip than you by 1,trilliol times and i could get better fajitas from an English-man. $40 for crap food. I should have made my own. It would have been way better and im not Mexican.

Amazing food and fantastic service! They were well staffed (even on a Thursday night) that everything was taken care of quickly. It also has alot of flavor, which is something a lot of Mexican restaurants lack in this area. This place is my new favorite Mexican restaurant.

Excellent, efficient customer service! Unfortunately, I forgot our waiters name; all I have from my receipt is that he was Server ID: 12 on 8/5/17. He was very attentive and made us feel as if we were his only customers. Delicious food- all around a great experience!

It was kind of a letdown the atmosphere was nice the staff was pleasant but the food to be honest was really poor quality and was not good tasting underway work right across the street so hopefully they get a new cook or something in there and the food will be better

Absolutely Delicious! Comparable to Sagebrush in price and food quality but more of an Authentic restaurant feel as opposed to the bar feel of Sagebrush. Waitstaff is very good and very kind to families. We look forward to eating here again and often!

Friendly wait staff. Always great service. This restaurant is very popular and very busy for a reason, because the food is great and the staff is amazing. Try the Fajita Pina (mix fajita served in a fresh pineapple half) tastes great!

Cancun food and service A+ rating! Fabulous authentic Mexican cuisine at a fair price. The staff is very friendly and more than helpful. My favorite dishes are the Chile Colorado and the ceviche. Highly recommend this restaurant!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The waitstaff are courteous but give you space to breathe between bites. The food is very good in my opinion and the margaritas are super good and pretty strong! I LOVE Cancun!

The food is great, but the service is questionable. I had to angrily slap cash at their register because they were understaffed and I had only so much time left on my lunch break. Their Carnitas are the real deal though.

Food is very authentic. I spent plenty of time in various parts of Mexico and this place takes me back. Staff is super friendly and will even help you with your Spanish. Food is the best I have had north of the border.
