Flavorless expensive tacos. Happy friendly employees with great attitudes. Nice looking facility. Clean and tidy place but big bummer on the tacos. I will never understand why people are so inclined to dupe the public on fake authentic ethnic food. From reading the reviews it is clear that the vast majority of their customers love the food. I was expecting authentic Mexican fair. The tacos were not even close. That said I take no offense. I am happy to see a resteraunt thriving and employing people. I am worn a bit thin though by imitation ethnic food enterprises that are not interested in honoring a culinary cuisine with due respect to the culture from which it originated. America, land of freedom to interpret other cultures culinary gifts to the world haphazardly.

I have only gotten carry out here so far - about 6 times. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. The service not so swift. Last time I ordered carry out it sat on the counter for almost 20 minutes while I sat in the restaurant and waited for it. Tonight we decided to order ahead, waited on hold for 8 minutes and then hung up and called back. When I told her I was on hold forever she said she forgot about me. She apologized and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. It has been 30 minutes and I am still here waiting. I would recommend this place but management needs to do something about the service.

Very bland. This is not anything like real Latin American food. The meat was over done, and very bland. Pork and pineapple do not make al pastor. There is a lot more that goes into it. If you are familiar with Mexican food in Mexico, NM, Texas, Cali or anywhere in the Southwest... you will be very disappointed. If you are not familiar with this type of food, you may like it. However, I will not be returning. There aren any places near Fenton with real authentic Mexican food. Some, like Cancun are pretty good. This one isnt at all deserving of a good review from me.

The favorite item that we love is the corn on the cob Elotes Asados, just perfect food. The tacos (Pork Belly Arepa and Aguacate Frito), nachos (both the Chicken Tinga and the Beef) and Enchiladas (did like the vegetarian over the chicken) are very well made and full of flavors. We have been there twice now and plan on return visits. The Frijoles and current months Arroz del mes were very tasty as well. Also, a nice selection of cocktails,a couple beers and, might be seasonal, lemonade are very supportive of the rope if vibe they are trying to make.

NO SERVICE! Went for lunch. Were the only people there when we arrived. Then 3 other tables came in and got their food. There were more staff than people seated in the restaurant. When we inquired about our order she said she forgot to turn it in. Really? She was less than 10 feet from us and looked at us just sitting there for 15 minutes while she walked right next to us to serve the other guests. Clueless!

First, the order wasnt complete, had to go back in for the guacamole that we were charged $3.00 for but was so small it was worth maybe 50 cents. Likewise the salsa, but it had absolutely no flavor whatsoever! The Carne Asada tasted burnt, the peppers did not have a good flavor and the beef tacos were dry and absolutely tasteless. Wont be back!

Were from California, so I admit Im a bit of a snob when it comes to street style tacos. El Topo certainly hit the mark. The Pico de Gallo was fresh and tasty, and the tacos were generously portioned. I would only change the corn on the cob, the amount of cotija and mayo (or cream) was heavy and I would have liked more lime and cumin.

Food is great! Fresh ingredients, traditional menu items. Though, the "seasoned popcorn" was awful. The wait for your food is a bit ridiculous for how slow it was. Definitely geared towards takeout. The dining room is a bit small. Once they work out the kinks of this place, it will be a wonderful addition to the town!

i tried it just to try it and i i thought it was cool looking inside but the tacos werent that great. they were a good size though just not very tasty. very greasy. i think vehicle city tacos have better tacos though. just my thought dont let my review decide if you try it or not.

Great food, but a little on the spicy side, so be aware (probably because its Latin fare). If you dont like a lot of spice, go with the beef, beans or avocado - the avocado taco is my favorite. Friendly and fast staff, clean environment, and good selection.

Loud speakeasy. Our order took 30 minutes to arrive, and then it came to the table cold. Bland flavorless food. Service was poor. Wait staff was forgetful. Taco Bell is much better (as poor as Taco Bell). I would not recommend this place.

Very expensive, little flavor with pricey rice and beans. Al pastor tacos had good pineapple and tender, flavorless pork. Street tacos you get 1 for $4.75 they should be called street taco. Owners need to wake up your food is not worth it.

Atmosphere was loud. Food was bland, flavorless, and served at room temperature when it should have been served hot. Service poor. Errors on bill. Will not return or recommend.

Super long wait time. Waitstaff in speak easy seemed very judgemental. Not hospitable. Small eating space at both front and back seating areas. Not universally accessible.

Great food, great tacos. pretty good prices too. Talked with the manager Greg for a while, he was a cool dude, a real sweetheart, a regular rapscallion

The Cuban sandwich is enough to earn five stars. Otherwise they have good beer and plenty of authentic Mexican American options for entrees.
