Not at all what I was expecting. The place is kind of odd.. It feels like youre walking in to grandmas cabin, which is okay. Went to sit in their booth and almost fell through because the bench seat springs were broken. It was like sitting in a hole. We ordered poutine for an appetizer. It came out the same time as our meal. Tasted okay, nothing great... I had ayce fish and shrimp and my husband had a Omelette. My fish was SUPER GREASY, no taste and rubbery. The shrimp was super small popcorn shrimp. First portion of shrimp was small, and because I didnt like the fish I reordered another order of shrimp. It took twenty mins to get the shrimp, and the whole time you could hear the wait staff and kitchen yelling back and forth over the kitchen window. The cook was yelling out every five minutes for the waitresses to pick up food.. Its just not a pleasant experience. I wouldnt recommend it this place.

This is from my daughter... I have a testimonial for Deb King at Canadian Steak, Fish, and Sandwich Co. When I first went to Miss Deb’s restaurant I did not really know what to expect, but when I went in I felt good and wanted to sit down and eat. The theme is very cool and I said to my mom, “Daddy would probably like this place.” The food was delicious and the dressing tasted like one of my favorite foods. Miss Deb came and talked to us, she made sure that the food was good, and she made sure that we were having a good time. Miss Deb is so kind and sweet. That was one of the best restaurants that I have ever been to. This is a big thank you to Miss Deb King for helping my mom and I have one of the best mommy daughter dates ever. JADYN LYNN NOLL

The wife and I picked to stop here by random and we were glad we did. The food was excellent. Service was very good as well. The "Worlds Best Steak Sandwich" is one of the best I have had. My wife ordered the Chicken Quesadilla Soup and also the shrimp. She is a very picky eater and can find something to complain about with every meal. There were no complaints tonight! We are looking forward to going back the next time we are passing through the area.

I have eaten at Canadian Steak & Fish Co. many times Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. I have always had a great meal. The portions are large and i find the prices very competitive if not better than the are restaurants for the quality of food and portions that you receive. The staff is always friendly and prompt. Looking for a great meal head over to Thompson Rd to Canadian Steak and Fish Co.

We went there for breakfast. The waitresses were wonderful. They are great with kids. I had eggs with avacado and my husband the eggs benedict which was huge and both came with their great fried potatoes. Quick service, quality food and very reasonable prices. Not fancy but just what youd want for breakfast.

wait staff made us feel very unwelcome. food was subpar. if you go here, prepare to make your drink last a long time as we were never asked if we wanted a second beverage.

July 2011, Hadn"t been here since it was known as Giles. Food and waitstaff excellent. Prices reasonable. Crab cakes were the best my wife ever had.

Didnt even have poutine 5 years ago. Now they do, and it hardly anything like authentic Canadian poutine. Less gravy and real cheese curds please.
