Im not one to complain or send back food because I myself use to be a waitress and understand the struggle. But this was a awful experience for my first visit to this location. To start things off, picking something was difficult because the selection was limited and nothing sounded appealing. I choose the Blooming Burger. The food wasnt that great, I only ate half of my bloomin burger, the fries were unsatisfying and were left untouched. My Co worker had to send his steak back because it was over cooked and he wouldnt even eat his fries cuz they were gross. So I decided to try have a slice of cheesecake because I was still hungry and my burger wasnt appetising in the less. When the cheesecake came it was still frozen throughout the whole middle. It took my Co worker cutting it because it was hard. Granted Ill give the manager credit for fixing the steak and asking me if Id like a different dessert. But by then Id lost my appetite and my want to try anything else. Our waitress only came to the table twice to check on us. Lets just say this Ill never be returning to The Outback steakhouse ever again.

Call ahead seating is a joke. I made a reservation for 5pm. It is now 6:25 and we are just being seated. I know its Mothers Day, but thats exactly why I called ahead. I wouldnt be so pissed off if it werent for the fact that people who came later than we did (with the same number of people) were seated long before we were. Now that being said, I gave the restaurant 5 stars because I am always happy with the food, and the staff is always great. The problem is not with the Ann Arbor Outback but the call ahead seating policy Outback cooperate came up with. Outback Steakhouse cooperate needs to improve their call ahead seating. If you are going to come out Outback during a known busy time like Mothers day, I suggest you come at least an hour before you actually want to be seated.

I would have to start with the service.. Our waitress is lovely and patient. If rating is based on service i would give a 5 star but foodwise, no mate! Everything is salty to the point it just screams " high blood pressure alert! " but if you are comfortable with super salty food, you might find everything served is perfect. We had blooming onions, battered mushroom, cheese fries, sirloin medallions (kids) , grilled chicken (kids) , a sirloin and lobster (main, adult) and a burger (adult) Have to emphasise on the food would have been scrumptious, the batter is crunchy and golden, our sirloin was perfect to touch but was sadly destroyed by the "way too generous" amount of salt. Might come back someday to give another chance for this place.

service was terrible, the waitress was being mean to us since we got there. My 1 yr old was acting like a 1 yr old.. ... and being a little loud because he was tired, and the manager came and starred at us for 10 min, and then ask us to leave, because another customer was complaining about the baby... We were in the middle of eating, and we still had to pay the entire bill, and the mean waitress came back to our table pretending like she didnt call the manager, and was pretending like she cared... The food wasnt even good, and they treat their customer with a lot of disrespect.. The manager was acting really racist, if the baby was white, he would not kick us out... This experience was really disappointing, I ll never go to a Outback again.....

I would give a zero star, if I could. I ordered take-out, a salad and got home to find my $15 salad had hardly any ingredients it boasted and the lettuce was old, starting to rot. it was completely unedible. I called to complain to the manager and she offered me a credit. So the next time (since I was afraid to get salad) I ordered a small steak medium rare, a loaded baked potato and potato soup. Same story - baked potato could have been rotting in an oven for days, looked like, didnt bother eating the soup. the steak was literally RAW inside, not rare, not medium rare, but RAW. I have half a mind to report them to the health department. Very disappointing and I will never venture there again!

Outback steakhouse used to serve more than three different steaks, didnt they? Food was meh. Got the "grass fed" burger. Asked for medium and got well done. Bun was less than fresh. Ribeye melt was also well -well done and gristly. The only reason we didnt complain was because w had gift cards. Waitress was nice though. Its been 14 years since I had been there and I was very disappointed it had gone downhill so much. I dont think its necessarily this particular Outback but the franchise in general. Too bad.

I ordered alice spring chicken with veggies. I should of ordered French fries because my veggies came with a bug on the broccoli. I let the waiter know & he apologized. He told me the manager would comp my dinner & bring out a new one. I never saw the manager. Theyre lucky I didnt say anything to the people waiting for seats. The only reason I give two stars is because of the waiter. He kept apologizing & was very nice. Fyi the manager should apologize not just the waiter. Wont go back.

Busy night, however sat at bar, by myself. Asked for beer and menu. (Because i wanted to eat) got the beer, "menu if in front of you" made my choice. Never was asked for my order. The 2 new comers are eating their appetizers!!!! Taking the order for the other new couple on the other side of me. Sorry, you got to ask for my business. I shouldnt have to bug you to try to order, especially when you have asked all those around me. Logans here I come!

Good food & service! By the other reviews it seem like Im been blessed at this OB. I try to avoid their busy times so maybe that is the key to a good meal there. The restaurant eating area does seem small & during the busy times the wait is not worth the trouble. Once in a while I will get a gristly steak & ask for another one. If Im in a rush, I will ask for that steak to be taken off the bill & the manager will do it after some persuading.

my husband and I were there on August 8 for our anniversary and we mentioned this to the waitress. After we had finished our dinner the waitress surprised us with our choice of 2 free desserts- compliments of the manager!! The food was excellent and the free desserts were so good and totally unexpected-just because it was our anniversary- how nice. Will go back there for sure!

Our poor waitress got all her tables sat at the same time. 6+ people tables ordering all at once. Told manager and she acted like it was not a big deal we all were still waiting for bread, apps, and drinks. While tables around us got served before the other sections did. We will never go back. Texas Roadhouse here we come again. More for your money anyway.

Unbelievable amount of dirt was found in my salad. Just one quick rinse could never have left that much dirt. I was even more disappointed by how the manager handled the situation. (not a big deal attitude behind the set up apology) Find a manager and a waiter/waitress you can trust if you want to get a reliable service. We are simply not going back.
