Food is acceptable and they have a decent variety. Just make sure to check the price they charge you for the buffet. I have been overcharged 3 times in a row. This time I even told the owner that the price was incorrect and he said it was correct. We had 2 adults and one 6 year old. Sunday adult $9.25 each. Sunday 6 and under $3.99. $24.98 was charged to my card. Do the math and youll see I was once again overcharged despite my telling him that my son is 6 and he agreed that is $3.99. The owner stands guard at the register and doesnt let anyone else manage it. Have never seen him use the cash register. Just a calculator that he uses and fluffs the bill to give a total. Never a receipt with a breakdown of charges and no numbers on the tab left at the table. The $.90 I was overcharged is trivial, but the practice of being intentionally dishonest is disgraceful. Watch your bills!

We went to Sunflower tonight , as we have many times over the past few years. My husband never had to look at the menu , he always orders the same thing. Our food arrived and I thought it looked different than it normally does. He ate a few bites and told us it was slimy and tasted funny. Our waitress got the owner / manager and he told us there was nothing wrong with it. The kitchen manager came out next and told my husband that since he had are a few bites of it that there was nothing wrong with it. We ended up paying for food that he couldnt eat and this will be our last time to patronize Sunflower.

WORST meal ever. The Hot & Sour Soup was neither hot nor sour. It was colored water at best with one large clump of tofu. The General Tsos Chicken was bitter. The Beef with Vegetables was awful according to my girlfriend. The meal was uneatable. We left our food on the table. The jerks had the nerve to charge full price and after I said I wasnt paying that, they knocked off $1.30 off a $16.30 bill. $15.00 for a sweet tea and a water! Save your money, these fools dont deserve a cent. They dont even deserve a single star but this damn sites requires i give them the one.

My boyfriend and I were visiting in town. When we got to the restaurant, they held the door open for us. We placed a large to go order and they had it ready within 15 minutes. Hot fresh and yummy smelling. They even gave us a free iced tea, which was very good while we were waiting. I forgot to ask for sweet and sour sauce and they gave it to us at no extra charge. Compared to other Chinese restaurants, they have a wider selection even though their menu is smaller. Fresher vegetables and well made food!

I expected something special based on reviews and was extremely disappointed. No buffet, menu only. The tea was dark black as if it had been reheated 100 times, the so-called fried rice was white rice with soy sauce, the scallops made me ill, the portion was modest for $11 and the meats were razor thin, the pu pu platter was more like poo poo - the eggroll was mushy inside, I think it had been reheated, had to ask for white rice 3 times, otherwise it was edible.

I plainly told the waiter that I didnt want meat or anything that had been cooked with it or using the same oil. The corn chips reeked of chicken and the spring roll stank the same way, and he repeatedly tried to sell me soups that contained meats, including seafood flesh and broths. I wont return to a restaurant where I find that level of negligent insensitivity.

There is not a Chinese place that rates to Sunflowers food in White, Habersham or Hall counties. Ive been a regular to-go order here for years. Prices are good, consistently good food scores, and the food is fresh - no hardened oily rice thats been reheated over and over. The owner and staff are very friendly, and the to-go orders are generous portions.

Not impressive at all. No salad bar, desserts are limited and the selection of the main dishes is also very limited. Some of the bins have been empty for a long time before being refilled. There is also no place to change diapers. Refills were slow and a stack of empty plates was sitting on our table for a very long time. We will not go there again soon.

Some of the worst Chinese food Ive had in a long time. All the different Meats Taste of the same the fried rice had meat in it and the rice was cooked badly dont recommend this place I was told I didnt believe the person well Im telling you its pretty bad I need to step up their game they even had dirty dishes at the actual Buffet

This is the Best Chinese food in town! The owner and staff are Great. Orders are always right, food is amazing and the waitress are pleasant. My husband and I are moving and will miss eating here. Thank you Sunflower for the wonderful experience and friendly dining atmosphere . Best of Luck

The food is good, just as you would hope for from a Chinese buffet. The owner never fails to ask me about how my business is doing and he almost always treats our family to free donuts. We dont go out often, but when we do my kids usually want to eat at Sunflower.
