Waited 10 min before someone even greeted us at the counter to take our order for only two buffet lunches. Even though the young lady who finally did take our order was kind, the rest of our experience was terrible. Ive never been to a buffet where the only edible food given was the chicken wings or jello. The mashed potatoes had a slight crunch to them from sitting out too long, the Mac and cheese noodles were hard and seemed like they were leftovers and someone had just poured new melted cheese over them, and even the chocolate and caramel on the desert buffet had a hard film over it from sitting there too long. Not to mention they offer you plastic spoons for the ice cream which was covered in crumbs where everyone else can openly touch them. Extremely disappointed in the staff as well. Would have loved to smack the girl who had attitude while I was grabbing wings. She was standing next to me filling the other chicken tray, when I had apologized for being in her way, she just glared and never said a word. Terrible service, terrible food. **Note that I only gave the restaurant one star because I had to give them at least one star to post this review. Nothing they offered was equivalent to one star.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had in my entire life. I went with a group of friends (not my choice in restaurants) and the place is abhorrent. The ceiling is literally caving in behind the salad bar, the selection of items available on the buffet is outright pitiful, and the staff is unkempt for lack of a better word. By all means stay away from this "restaurant" if you value food quality, food safety, and overall comfort of your dining experience. At one point during our meal a woman at another table stated to her waitress that "Ponderosa is my place" to which I called out from across the restaurant "Why? Did you have a stroke?" I literally left this "restaurant" and went to McDonalds, which, while a fast food place that could use some pick-me-ups itself, is miles above this place. Bottom line: save yourself the time, money and the disgusting look youll undoubtedly have on your face and stay away from this place.

Always a Great Steak and Food Bar. This spotless clean family fun steakhouse plates up really perfectly cook steaks and always has super service along with filled to the top hot and cold food bars. My favorite new location since Wyandotte location closed a year ago. I wish I had tried location sooner the lay out is more inviting and bright and refreshing to enjoy a great meal in. Only a few locations remain, this place always fantastic service and foods filled fresh and hot . Love the Food Bars those Chicken Wings, Catfish, Cornbread, Collared Greens and Dessert bar that Banana Walnut Bread a must.

This place is horrible, the buffet was the nastiest food I ever had in my whole entire life. The food look like everything came out of a can. Its just not worth the price at all, I would of rather went to a soup kitchen. They would have had a better quality of food then this place. The ceiling tiles had nasty brown stains on them, the pop machine had some type of scum or grime coming from the bottom of it like it never been cleaned. I wont even take my dog to come eat here! I will never ever eat at this place again even if I was starving. I really dont see how they are still open.

I have been coming to this restaurant since it was a Bonanza Steakhouse back when it opened (early 1970s). It still delivers a solid meal with a decent if not overwhelming buffet option and I will continue to come here for lunch or dinner if I have business in the area. A number of this franchisees locations have closed over the past few years--this appears to be one of only two left of a chain that used to boast perhaps more than 20 locations regionally in its prime, of which location this has always been my favorite.

Food was delicious the two cooks where amazing and working hard. Running back and fourth. Doing work! My steak was outstanding and cooked perfectly. The cook even came out and asked me if my steak was OK But the 2 waitresses that were on the floor, were rude and did nothing but stand on there phones. I believe their names were Crystal and Julie. Absolutely like to laziest waitresses I ever seen. I really want to contact their General manager or corporate

Went after church Sunday July 9, 2017. There was no one line yet a took about 5 minutes before the cashier came. The mashed potatoes were full of pepper. The baby back ribs were tough. The wings were very salty. The roaster was juicy but had no seasoning. The watermelon tasted odd. The meatball were beige instead of brown and the sauce was very watery. Everything I usually eat was bad.

Please reply if you know if this is the same ponderosa from toledo ohio. I loved this place as a child! My mom and dad would take me and my little sister there all the time. We had so many memories there. My dad is really sick and it would be so awesome to take him and mom and sis. Its a long way from me. But it would totally be worth the drive if this is the same place.

Short staff today I was told no plates. Staff that was there was rude. Chicken was not ready. Then they came out fried way to hard. No one came to the table to check on us. I spent 16. Dollars for the buffet and none of the food was ready. Not a good day. I want be back.

The food wasnt bad however the ribs are very dry. The staff is nice and offers great assistance (keeping table clean and such) managers were friendly and wanted to resolve any and all issues.... Ive eaten here a few times before the baked chicken taste nice.

This Ponderosa is okay but the management team is not friendly at all. The server are good. The building could use a face lift. It can be a bit cleaner too. Let me not forget about those tough rib tips they serve on the buffet (bad).

2 oclock in the afternoon food sitting under heating lamps the had the sirloin steak and food bar and only had water over 15 bucks only thing that was good where the chicken wings done with that place not like it used to be

Wait staff was great but pretty much everything I tried was not good. Especially the Mac and cheese. 34yrs of my life and I have never had to spit food out until I tried their Mac. Not worth the money.

Steaks were horrible. The prices are way to high for the quality of service. This was a great place in the 90s, unfortunately it feels likw the place was never updated! Very disappointed

We order the 50 piece wing dings for my daughters birthday party. Went we got there they screwed up the order and the punk manger did not give a rats butt!! The service there SUCKS !!!
