This is my favorite restaurant ever. The employees are very kind and will help ensure your dinner is up to your standards. The trays are constantly replenished, so you wont find old food sitting out in the heat lamps. The sushi bar is by far my favorite part of Habachi Buffet. Always fresh and delicious sushi higher in quality than what youd expect from a buffet- or even sushi restaurants! The sushi chef is immensely talented and creates new concoctions every time Ive been there. Side note: If youre concerned about food poisoning due to sushi, Ive never been sick or known anyone whos been sick from food here, and Ive been to Habachi Buffet (formerly Grand Buffet) over 35 times in my entire life. The one thing that could be improved is the dessert selection. I wouldnt recommend anything from the entire table besides the macaroons or the eclairs because the rest of the options are dry and/or flavorless.

This is the most ghetto Chineese joint I have ever been to. The food is almost always old and cold. They literally have child laborers working there. Walk in and youre greeted by an 8 year old little boy that takes you to your table and gets your drink order. Thats disrespectful to patrons, seeing how were not important enough to be greeted by an adult. The bathrooms OMG everything is held together by CAULK, tons of caulk. Looks disgusting. The shrimp is soft and squishy, an indication of age and poor refrigeration. The fried chicken chunks are at least 70% batter. They look decent until you bite into one, garbage. The only thing good about this place is the salad bar. Oh, and one of the desserts offered is a tray full of CHEETOS LOL. Ive visited this place several times in tbe past 6 months in hopes of improvement but alas its only gotten worse. I will never eat here again.

Great buffet with Sushi Very good buffet with lots of great goodies and sushi very good. Very nice inside and a free to use room that holds 100 persons. I love the sushi and all the steamed dumplings on the food bar. $7 for lunch and $10 for dinner well worth the trip.Great place. The people who are complaining need a bit of a wake up call. For the price youre paying, its almost unbelievable what they serve. You can choose between soup, dessert, sushi, and so much more. I suppose if they wanted gourmet Chinese food they should have went somewhere else. Highly recommend this place. P.S. It is common courtesy in the U.S. to tip, even if your waitress is picking up all of your filthy dishes and refilling your drinks.

We go there all the time. Every time we go there the food is hot everytime! Ive been there at least 10 times and they are always awesome. Obviously the sushi isnt going to be like benihana or some sushi place but for a buffet i cant complain. I am a creature of habit and i only come back to certain places more than once and this is one of them so far. My only complaint is with the guy who actually makes the sushi rolls. I asked him a question and he clearly heard me and looked away. Unfortunately there is seafood practically next to everything BUT if you have allergies then you shouldnt be at a buffet EVER because a piece of anything could fall off someones plate by pure carelessness.

We have eaten here since I moved to the Downriver area 4 years ago. We used to really like the food, but in the past year the quality has declined to the point where I get queasy just thinking about it. We will not go back. Not sure whether new ownership, or whether theyre trying to cut costs too much. But many of our favorite items are no longer available, the food is greasy, it sits out on the steam tables for so long it gets kind of stale, and we wonder if some of the ingredients are borderline on being spoiled.

This is the worst buffet that I have ever been to anywhere!!! Hands down this place is horrible. Cold and old food. The fresher looking foods available taste extremely funny, some even like soap. They place fish products around just about everything so if you are allergic definitely steer clear. I would rate this -100 if I could it is just that horrible. Take it from a foodie this place sucks.

Worst place ever. Couldnt understand anyone that worked there.. The food tasted terrible. I couldve bought frozen asian food and made it at home it wouldve tasted better, and been cheaper.. We didnt like the food and they made us pay anyways. I hope this place gets burned down by the mongols in return for taking the recipes of delicious meals into rotten buffett crap tasting so called food.

As always this place never lets me down. Great selection and the lunch pricing is amazing. $7.99 for 7 tables of fresh hot food. Service is great here as well. Good place to visit with friends of family. Place is clean and well maintained. Decor is your average chinese place but this place is a step above with newer decorations. Give it a shot. You will like it. Something for everyone.

My moms been bring me here for 12yrs...Im 13. Dels pizza was favorite till they poisoned our cat ...sad situation. All you can eat beats take out pizza that leaves an animal dead..plus this restaurant, has non stop cleaning. . Tables, buffet area, bathrooms. .great service .and they have pizza. Soup fresh and hot..no health department issues here. Love it.. and seafood CRAB LEGS.

I visited this place for the first time 3/10/15, apparently 3/9 it was under new management. Food is very good and place is clean. Very good quality sushi. Not the best Ive had but very good for a buffet. Malaysian chicken is delicious. Sweet & sour soup was great as well. Best part...the price! $7 for lunch!

Worst place ever. Disgusting do NOT waste your money or time going here. Everything is cold and hard. The food is tasteless. And they are so cheap they have unflavored jello. The employees were EATING in front of us.. while on the clock. No wonder we were the only customers in there...... never going back again.

NEVER fresh food! The food sits for how ever long. They turn it over every once in a while but old is old no matter how many times you turn it over. The stench of the food is gut wrenching accompanied by an acrid taste of the food. Save your money and take it some place better.

You have to go at lunch time to get fresh food, dinner is always old crusty food and they dont refill the stuff that is gone unless you point out that there us no more. The other day it was 6pm and the sushi was completely gone! Everything was old and looking nasty or out!

Worst Hibachi I have ever been to. All the food was cold. One of my friend found hair in her food. The fish was cold and nasty and the selection they had was a paltry in comparison to other Hibachi I have been too. I wouldnt recommend this spot to anybody.

Walked in at 9pm, they were closing at 10pm. None of the workers greeted us. All of them looked at us as if they could not wait for us to leave. We waited a minute to get service, no one came to seat us, then we turned around and walked out.
