I went there with a few friends after reading some of the good reviews for this place, and I have to say I have never seen such terrible service in my life. The restaurant was completely empty when we got there around 4pm, which was surprising to me considering how nice and large the restaurant looked. However, the waitress who took us to our seat seemed very rude and impatient. We only got 2 menus for the 8 of us there, so we asked her for some extra menus and she said shed grab some and come right back. A few minutes later, she came back and asked if we were ready to order, and we pointed out that we were still waiting for the menus she had promised us. Once we had decided to order, she asked if wed like to have it as one order, or separate, so we told her wed like it separate so that itd be easier for each of us to pay for our own meals. We ordered, and the food was alright, nothing really special about it (youll find the same quality food for cheaper prices anywhere else in Dearborn) After serving us the food, the waitress was nowhere to be found, and we had to constantly get up and go to the counter to ask for water refills. We asked the guy (who I assume was the manager) for the bill, and he gives us a combined bill for all of us. We told him that we would prefer it separated, so we could pay by credit card (not all of us had cash on hand) and he rudely commented that "I dont know what you each ordered, so I cant split the bill" and we told him the waitress knew what we ordered and he said "Shes already left" and walked away. We then took out a pen and wrote down what each of us ordered on a piece of paper, and went up to him and asked him if that would make it easier for him to split up the order. He angrily commented "You should have told us beforehand that you wanted it split up" and we told him we had told the waitress before we placed the order. It took him another 15 minutes to finally split up the orders and give us each our receipts. Needless to say, it was definitely not an enjoyable experience at all.

Ok, I had what could only be classified as a one horrible experience. Starting with service, came with 6 friends and sat at a table. Waitress only brings menus for 3 people. We have to ask twice for menus to be brought to us. After we order, we get our food but no waitress in sight to fill up water at anypoint. I had to ask the waitress to fill me up. Following that the waitress ends her shift as we are eating and no one is placed to take care of us. The, what looks like manager, comes a little later and gives us our bill, merged for all 7 people. We ask him to split it and he says its to hard and he doesnt know who ordered what. After personally separating the order with a pencil I try to find the guy and hes no where to be found, no staff at all on the floor of the restaurant. Then, I flag another employee and tell him to do the splitting. He does it, naturally I tip 0 dollars. They provided horrible service that could only be matched by a horrible tip. The first time Ive ever tipped 0 dollars.

So here is the thing about this restaurant: they have the best Mediterranean food in the area in a beautoful and classy place. You cannot go wrong with anything, but some of my favorites are the beef tongue (so soft it melts in your mouth), and the babagannoush (to me it tastes the most authentic). Try the stuffed lamb (ouzi) if you want to know what middle eastern people eat at weddings. Whatever you order, you will have plenty to take home with you as the portions are generous. Now to the cons: the waiters are very hands off and super chill. They will serve you hot bread without olive oil dip, but will disappear so you cannot ask for anything. When youre done eating, they will take a long time to bring you the bill. I understand why some reviewers rate this place poorly for bad service, but this is still one of my favorite two restaurants in Dearborn (Cedarland is my number one, if you are curious).

Dont ever ride your bike and come here. Manager says I have to go out and stand next to my bike while he makes my order. Makes me rush saying my order so he can get me out ASAP. Didnt say hello or anything when I first walked in. Straight up says "what do you want?" "Come on quickly tell me" like really. Have some respect to say "how can I help you" or "heres a menu". It was so hot out he should be a ashamed of himself telling to stand out next to my bike and making wait a long time to get my order. Than he signals me to come inside and get the food. Gives me my order while talking to a customer. Then says "ok now leave, bye" after I tried to say to talk to him face to face without the other customer there as it was rude because he was telling him his order and he cut him out. Never again even though they are walking distance. I deserve an apology for his disrespect.

This was my first trip in Dearborn area and a friend had invited me and my family to this reataurant. I must say the food was very yummilicious and the staff was pretty friendly for a busy place like this (usually when its busy at this scale the staff just neglects the customer) but it was a 5-star ezperience and we will definitely pay them a visit again if we ever happen to be around dearborn area.

The food was not as tasty as expected (other Arabic restuarants nearby has more delecious BBQ). The Chicken kufta spices were strange (Kumon was added to that!!!). The beef Kufta looked red "as if not well done, but I think that something gave that color, it did not tast great. The atomsphere is nice, clean and welcoming (more than other restuarants I visited in Dearborn).

Came in for dining Saturday with my family, great food, the whole deboned was amazing, cooked well and wasnt dry, dressing on the fattoush was a bit to heavy for me, service was great, the waitress was very nice and welcoming, few jokes here and there . Overall the experience was very well, the place though needs to be updated.. but i will be back!

Did not enjoy the food. Waiters were very slow to ask if we needed any refills. Food was not warm at all. It tasted alright. Not sure if this is due to the restaurant its self or just coincidence, but i was very ill for the next 3 days after eating here. Since i cant be 100% sure its the restaurant, i just will not eat here again.
