Im not a huge fan of authentic Mexican cuisine but my wife is so we sometimes venture out to this place. This is as authentic as you are going to get in Howell, I know this because dishes that come with olives are not black nor green but some sort of tan color. I assume they are olives native to Mexico and or the surrounding area. So the food is good if you are into Mexican food. The waitstaff is great. Theyre very polite and at least on our visits have never screwed anything up. For somebody who doesnt like Mexican food all that much is a tolerable and decent place to go, for somebody who goes ape crap over Mexican food, well theyll probably love it.

We were seated right away and the hostess was great. Our server came over nd took our order and that is were the problem began. As others were seated after us and then their food was served we were told that our order was not yet ready but it would be coming out shortly. Our server kept bringing drinks for over an hour and still nothing. When I asked the server when our order would be ready after an hour he stated that the food was still not ready. We left. Not a good experience and will not be back and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Thank you, Sue, but I must disagree. I have been there at least a dozen times. EXCELLENT AUTHENTIC FOOD. NEVER had the wrong order. Orders come out usually before you can strike up a conversation with your dining partner. As far as wonderful Mexican restaurants in the "area"; if you consider Taco Bell "wonderful" well . . . As far as Brighton locales; there GREAT Tex-Mex, but not authentic Mexican. And I have never been insulted in Spanish, if I was, I would stand up for myself; but I guess I am not that rude.

My parents live in Howell and I looooooove to eat here... but I live an hour away and I have searched and searched for places even 1/2 as good as Los Tres Amigos to no avail. This place just cant be beat. Even Mexican Town in Detroit is no match. The lunch prices at Los Tres are especially good. The fajittas are to die for. You get free chips and salsa, food comes out fast and hot, and Ive always had good service. This place is honestly amazing.

Stopped here while passing through. Quickly seated, chips and salsa were great. My friend enjoyed the extra hot salsa available at the tables. We didnt even get thru the chips when our food came out. It was hit and very tasty. I usually find that the beans are stale at other places , but they were fantastic here. I had the chulupa lunch dinner and it wS fab! Service was fast and friendly. A must for anyone looking for great food.

Inforrmed the waitress of food allergies, said i could have the bean dip & cheese. 23 minutes later another waitress comes and says it has onion product after it being out and getting ready for bite 3. Swelling somewhat, Understanding why tongue is swelling with hands & feeling funny. Fluids, benadryl and talking with my physician can you say EPI pen. Iv

I love Mexican food but wasnt so impressed here. The waitress brought my daughter rice instead of fries - easily and quickly corrected. Afterwards she said "Its really busy so I dont have time to do the price adjustment". It was only a .25¢ difference so we paid it but were not impressed with the service either.

The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very large. Id definitely recommend this restaurant if you like Mexican food. The staff is also very hard working and kind. My wife accidentally left her wallet at the table the last time we went there and they were very diligent in returning it to us. Thank you!

Went there yesterday 2 hours before they even closed. Our food was cold. I asked for no shrimp... my pineapple dish had shrimp in it. The whole thing was cold, my bfs burrito was cold, beans and rice were cold. It lacked flavor. It was our first time and we will never go there again. Taco Bell is better...

My husband and I used to eat here at least once a week, the service was amazing the food was great and we liked the atmosphere. I have no idea what happened over the last couple years but the staff is horrible the food is taco bell on its best day at sit down restaurant prices. It really makes me sad.

Tasty, strong, and well-priced margaritas. We also shared a plate of enchiladas which were very good. My only complaint was the slow service, but we were just relaxing at the bar so it wasnt a big deal. I would definitely recommend this place for drinks if you have some time to kill.

This is another family favorite. The meals are well priced and you get a good serving. Benefits of free chips and salsa, chips are great salsa is so so. Birthdays are great here as free authentic desert and they sing to you. Thank you for making my 7 year olds Birthday fun.

Stood at the front desk for over 5 minutes waiting for someone to take my carry out order. Clearly asked for soft shells and they gave me hard shells. It than took twice as long to bring the food back to me. If your looking for Mexican drive down the road to El Patron.

Always great food and we had an unfortunate incident where my daughter knocked my pop and salsa all over our waitress Jessica and the floor and she was so sweet and amazing she just joked about it and went on with her day. Wonderful place we will eat here any time.

Los Tres has a great wait staff and tasty food. If you want a pitcher of Dos Equis and some great mexican chow with some friends, this is the place. Ive eaten here about a dozen times and the only time service was slow I was with a rather large group.

If you want your order to be wrong, to be insulted in Spanish and treated as a fool, then definitely visit this establishment. There are too many other wonderful Mexican restaurants in the area to waste your time here.

BEST MEXICAN IN LIVINGSTON COUNTY!! I eat here at least once a week and I love it! The burritos are amazing and my boyfriend loves the steak quesadilla fajitas. The staff is always friendly and very professional!

Changed my review after visiting Los Tres Amigos on August 4, 2017. They have changed the menu, meals are much smaller, and it took an hour to get our meal. The wait staff was overwhelmed.

One of the better Mexican restaurants in the area! Prices are rather though given the quality and amount of food that you get; which is always a plus. The margaritas are excellent as well.

Myself and my fiance thoroughly enjoyed the day. Everything was hot and tasty. Even though it was busy they kicked butt to provide a great dining experience. Loved the lime margaritas.

Went here on Cinco de Mayo hoping for a great time and food. Very disappointed. Service was poor, so we decided to not eat. First time I have had issues at this location.
