I have a friend who lives one block away from this place so we often eat lunch here. It is a very casual place usually filled with students from nearby Holy Cross college. The food is good and you wont spend a lot of money. There is also a bakery inside. They have a parking lot. Things could be cleaner and the help seem a little disorganized which are the reasons I knocked off one star. For example when I ask what is the soup today nobody seems to ever know despite the fact that soup and half sandwich is always a special.

AWFUL! I called to make a appointment for cake tasting for my wedding, and without asking me my date, when I wanted to schedule or any info about my reason for call except a tasting. They told me they were booked! ITS RIDICULOUS! I would never go back or call them for anything. They were very rude, and horrible customer service. THIS IS MY WEDDING AND THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE COURTESY TO EVEN ASK ME WHEN IT WAS!

Decent food and service but better breakfast cafes in the city. Definently the hot spot for college students and locals. Bakery has excellent selection and very tasty goods. Lower rating due to some cleanliness issues i.e. silver ware always spotted and guest with me came accross one small piece of hair in his food. Recemend this place for a decent quick bite but not if your looking for more.

I have been purchasing cakes and pastries from Culpepper’s for years! I love their cakes and cookies. The prices are very competitive to bakeries in the area. Orders are ready every time…on time! The wait-staff is friendly and cheerful. I never leave with a small order. The breads are incredible. You have to stop by and try them out! You won’t be disappointed.

They have the worst coffee I have ever had in my life I will never go back there. The silverware is bent, often dirty and food encrusted.The food is barely passable, well done bacon is limp and greasy, egg sandwich had a slice of cheese slapped on a cold egg. Only reason they got one star is because you have to rate them somehow......would have done -5 if possible.

The staff was a little childish more concerned about gossip, and drama then doing there job. But the food overall was pretty good the cook definitely needed a little more training. But Ive been cooking for 20 plus years so thats just my opinion, but there bakery looked great.

I was here yesterday. Good food, decently priced. Long waits, though. Was there for about an hour, after ordering a ham, egg & cheese on an english muffin. And the drive thru certainly was a much longer wait. Dont go here expecting a quick in & out breakfast.

I want to give 5 stars but I cant....because when you eat here, once you walk in, if you dont go find a table you wont have one, even if your food is done. But putting the table aside, their food is madd freakin good, and for a good price.

Why have a drive-thru when you are annoyed that your customers use it? Thank you for your uncut bagel, side of cream cheese, cold coffee and fabulous service. I am sure I will frequent this bakery.
