Pretty good. The service was good and we got our table by reservation right away. Very friendly. The antipasto we got was really good, but make sure you ask for more bread if you need it (we didnt realize we could get more). I had a gnocchi special that was not amazing--gnocchi were fried, and thus sort of a chewy when gnocchi should really be soft and pillowy. Wine selection is good.

They are a very busy group and while the food is great, the service did suffer. I think they should listen to what people are saying and hire more staff. Its hard to make it in restaurants, so if youre doing something right ... serving good food ... you can give people a GREAT experience with great food and great service!

The food is good. But, even though we had a reservation and the house was nearly empty, the hostess tried to seat is at the worst table in the room. When we requested any other table, she gave us grief about how busy they were, and then we got terrible service for the rest of the night. Not worth it.

Five star food, three star service. My wifes family is Italian and love to cook, and they wouldnt stop raving about the food afterwards. Service was slow and much of the staff seemed tipsy. Highly recommended, but be prepared for a long evening.

We dine often at A Tavola and we have never once been less than delighted with the food and the service; that is indeed why we dine there often. Last night (Nov. 8, 2013) was no exception; the meal (salmon main course) was wonderful.

Cosy restaurant, reservation definitely required ! Better for a tête à tête than large group. Quality food, charming atmosphere ! I have also tasted Bistro 5 in Medford (same chef). Recommend both but prefer Winchesters location...

Dissapointed with the 3 course meal for 38 which kept going up due to choices. Making it a 48 dollar meal. For 10 days they cant give you a deal?
