Good place to go solo or with a date, but not for families. Theres no kids menu, and much of the food is at prices double what you could get off a local food truck or at a local dive. That said, the food is very well done, drinks are inventive and tasty, service is attentive (although struck me as pretty leery of my motley crew), and the portions are fairly decent sized, though largely due to everything coming with rice pilaf (although the pilaf was good). The chicken schwarma was dry, but the chicken kebab had a nice grilled flavor. The jumbo shrimp kebabs were good. The lentil soup is fairly plain. The lamb and pumpkin kibbeh were both spot on and not too dry. They dont really have any non alcoholic specialty drinks. The hummus was light and tasty. The baba ghanoush was too smoky. The cheese flutes were very nice, as were the salads. The chicken wings appetizer was maybe a little heavy on sumac, but quite good. The only real problem with those was the limited quantity for such small sized wings. All of the desserts were spectacular.

I had Al Wadi cater a dinner party on very short notice. They recommended dishes and helped determine how much food we should get for 12 people. Everything was absolutely amazing. The grape leaves were some of the best Ive tasted. The cauliflower appetizer was the first to disappear off of plates. The kabobs were tender and delicious. Everything was clearly labeled and in containers that were easy to put into the oven to keep warm. The price of this feast was very reasonable and the guests kept complimenting me on my brilliant choice. Thank you Al Wadi!

Went there on 4/22/12, it is a great looking place very clean looking. And then it went downhill from there, we ordered the stuffed cabbage appetizer, came out stone cold sent it back and it came out lukewarm. we also ordered the lamb kabob with rice, and a side of mediterranean salad $3.00 extra. Salad was great, food came out stone cold and mine was raw. It came out again cooked a bit more, but the lamb was so tough it was inedible. The waiter was clueless, but very nice. all in all I would say STAY AWAY.

The waitress was either tired or annoyed. When I asked what beer they had, I got answer: "what do you want, try me." When I ordered mixed grill entry, I didnt mean chicken as well. Lamb kabob was chewy, almost as a wrong cut for kabobs. Kaftan was very good. We also enjoyed chicken liver appetizer. Definitely not worth $$$ prices they charge. You can get a much better Mediterranean cuisine elsewhere.

Stopped by for a quick lunch on a Sunday. We were delighted at how many vegan options they have. In addition to two vegan dinner entrees, the vast majority of their exceptional appetizers are vegan. The service is very gracious and the atmosphere is lovely. A great place to add to your vegan list of Boston!

Mezzes and enter plates. Friendly staff. Bit more formal dining room. Im sure kids are welcome, but is for adult dining. Im sure its authentic food of Lebanon and surrounding cultures. Weve returned multiple times, worth the 45 min drive from our smaller town.

Best mediterranean salad EVER!! Huge portion, consistently fresh, good quality produce in the salad and if you order with a skewer of meat it comes with this MIND BLOWING garlicky butter to dip the meat in. MY FAVORITE SALAD IN ALL OF BOSTON a MUST TRY!!!

The food was alright. Waitress although nice and courteous was never seen once dropping food on the table. Very expensive for the quality of the food. They automatically add 18% of the meal cost as a tip and expect you to add gratuity.... what a rip off!

This is the best Middle-Eastern / Lebanese restaurant in the area. The selection of wine, overall food quality and service is great. Byblos in Norwood is a close 2nd ... but if you are close to West Roxbury - then go for Al Wadi first ...

Always fabulous, the food is excellent. We always order the dinner for two as it provides all the variety between the starters, entree and dessert. Definitely worth the price, not to mention their sangrias are fantastic.

The best sit down Lebanese, scratch that, the best sit down Mediterranean restaurant in greater Boston. Hands down. I wholeheartedly disagree with this comments regarding it being pricy - Id pay more.

Food here is excellent. The apps are fantastic; we ordered the Haloumi, Grape Leaves, Hummus and Lebneh. The mixed grill is the go-to entree.

The Lebanese manager was rude to us. He was racist and showed very low class. Food was reasonable. Waiter was amazingly kind.
