The Golden Leaf is what it is....an outstanding place to go get great Chinese Food when my family wants it. True, it isnt a place to go as a destination for a chinese meal...but for pick up, it cant be beat in the Hampstead Area. My family always finds the food wonderful, the portions enough, that there is always lunch and sometimes dinner the next day...(Always tasty) and the price is comparable to the food. Even the fried food is cooked to there isnt that greasy taste!!!! I would recommend the Golden Leaf to anyone who wants to pick up an order, cooked fast, with plenty of food, and always good.

We just moved to E. Hampstead and my husband LOVES Chineese food.....has to have it once a week. This is the second place we have tried and it will be the new weekly spot. He is very impressed with the "Shrimp w/ Lobster Sauce" and says it has large sized shrimp and overall the food was delicious. The order we placed for delivery arrived in 15 minutes or less. This place was very impressive and we would highly recommend it!!!

Beware of the General chicken...unless you like chewing on cartilage, after not being able to eat the first 5 pieces of chicken I just tossed it. The sauce was ok, standard Tso. The chicken fingers are always good so why use such poor quality chicken in a house dish?? I dont get it, nor will I again...maybe next time will just ask for a side of the generals sauce to go with some rice and chicken fingers.

Food is awesome n super tasty !!! We had orange chicken n kung bo 3 delight (spicy , chicken beef shrimp). For lunch , here at Kingston high school for annual Destination Imagination tournament , live 45 minutes away , if we get the craving , would drive 45 minutes here. More of a take out place , dont expect ambiance , all plastic ware

Im a Usual Customer..My order is usually given to me directly at arrival without conversation necessary. I ordered my usual meal at 1pm one day and the rice was dry not to mention the portions were terrible...Way to treat your customers..wont be around much longer im sure.

Had sesame chicken and chicken lo mein. The sesame chicken was awful. The cuts of chicken were very tough and chewy. The sauce was almost black and just plain nasty. The lo mrin was greasy but at least edible. Wont be going back.
