Horrific experience with delivery. Ordered online through their website at 6 pm on a Tuesday - what could go wrong? Everything. Thats what. Called to follow up and they said they had my order and I was told it would be 40 minutes. It was a Tuesday. Not a busy day. I waited. at 7 pm, I called back again. This time the person at the place acted like they never received my order. It was clear they had forgotten about it. They said an additional 40 minutes, then changed to 20 minutes once they clarified my address was within 10 minutes of the place. I wait. And I wait. And now its 8pm and I still dont have any dinner. I called a third time and they hung up on me. I called again. I said please dont bother to bring it and do not charge my card. They hung up again. Then they called back and said the delivery guy was 20 minutes away then he was magically at our building right then (not true). I asked them to please cancel the order and refund my card. They never showed up and still charged my card. I have called several times to ask for the refund on my charge card and now Im on hold with the bank because they never refunded it. Do not bother with this place. More of a hassle than any dinner is worth.

DO NOT order delivery from this place, I ordered through their website and the food was gonna take way too long to arrive so I decided to just cancel. I called and asked them to cancel the order, they clearly were aware enough to not bring the food, but they still charged my card. I called to ask them to refund my card and I talked to someone for a while who was being really rude and left me on the phone for way too long while he said he was going to figure it out. He picked the phone back up after a while and said "hello", I responded and he immediately hung up on me. I called back of course and asked for a refund again, he said Id have to call the manager for the refund and gave me a phone number. I found that super weird but the food was way overpriced and I wanted my $30 back, so I called the number. IT WAS A FAKE NUMBER. THIS ACTUAL BUSINESS LITERALLY GAVE ME A FAKE PHONE NUMBER TO TRY TO GET ME TO STOP ASKING FOR A REFUND FOR FOOD THAT I NEVER RECEIVED. So anyways, waiting on the credit card company to take of this for me now, bottom line, dont order from here unless you want to get scammed.

Ugh! Dont you just hate it when youre starving and craving good indian food only to be disappointed by crappy food? Thats what I got when I ordered Sag Paneer from Santa Banta. I ordered Sag Paneer to go and boy, when I opened it, it looked watery and smelled bland or stall. Indian food is usually flavorful, but this didnt meet the mark. Sag Paneer is my favorite dish and Ive probably eaten it at several restaurants, but this is the worst Sag Paneer Ive had. I regret not going to Little India, located across the street from Santa Banta, which is where I usually order my food. The staff at Santa Banta is friendly, but what good is that if the food is crap. On another note, I went there at around 6pm to pick up my food and there wasnt a single customer in the place. I guess everyone else got the memo about the food, but me. I shall certainly not return. Please save your money and patronize one of the many other Indian restaurants on Moody.

The worst rude delivery guy I have come across. Ordered food @ 8:40 PM and the food never came!! I called the hotel at 9:30 PM and they informed he left 5 mins back. And then I get a call from the delivery boy @ 10:15 PM stating he encountered a flat tyre. I understood his situation and told him ok come by Uber and I will bear the charge, its ok. I call him at 11 PM and he says he is still standing by the car and he took all the decision and tells me he has CANCELLED the order all by himself and tell me to go find my food elsewhere. And then @11:15 PM calls me back and tell me he will deliver in 10 mins! And asks me to pay him extra money for the flat tyre repair! Seriously !! Santa Banta you guys have a stupid, idiot and a moron employee.

Went for Sunday brunch. We were not told that they would be closing the buffet when we sat down. They started taking food away before we had the chance to take what we wanted. They took our plates from the table before we were finished with them. We ordered a second round of naan and never got it, they brought our bill instead and rushed us to finish eating by waiting a long time to fill our water glasses and stopping to pick up the bill before we were finished eating. The food was amazing and fresh. The servers were polite enough, on the surface. But we felt rushed and unwelcome.

I came to this restaurant hoping to eat some indo-chinese.... Little did I know that it would be this bad. We ordered chicken lollipop, chicken manchurian, chicken fried rice, and spicy chicken hakka noodles. The only thing eatable was the chicken lollipop. The fried rice was not fully cooked. It looks like they took jeera rice and added some sauce and chicken. The chicken did not have any flavor. Do not go to this restaurant for indo-chinese cuisine. I do not know about the other food at this restaurant but I will definitely will not be going here again.

I was longing for some authentic Indian food on my trip to Boston last year and my driver recommended Santa Banta restaurant. The name struck me as amusing so I decided to check them out. I can tell you confidently I had a grand time there with familiar Indian hospitality with a very American professionalism to it. Their Paneer Tikka masala is superb. My wife relished their chicken dishes but I cannot vouch for it as I am a vegan. I would definitely suggest them to anyone living in and around waltham, ma and looking for a special dinner / lunch option.

Overpriced non-Indian food. We ordered Channa Masala and Karahi Paneer, both were disappointing. Channa was hard and not cooked enough. Karahi Paneer was bland and not at all made Indian. It looked like saute veggies in tomato puree. Few weeks later, I gave restaurant another chance and paid $15 for chicken biryani lunch take out which was tasteless and the portion size was not even worth $5.

Indian restaurants normally have bad customer service so I wont even start on the awful service i recieved. The most important thing is the taste of food. Which was awful. It was boring, there was no taste at all. As if the chef made it from a packet. Bland food. Dont spend $14.99 for a lunch buffet here. Ive spent way less & ate much better buffet food.
