Mr. J, the proprietor, is awesome, and has a fantastic hidden gem of a restaurant here in Attleboro near the Rehoboth line. My only complaint would be that the staff are sometimes a bit inattentive (taking orders, refilling drinks, etc), but Mr. J makes up for it in spades with his enthusiastic personal attention to seemingly every patron. In particular, hes good at making recommendations if you cant decide, and is happy to tailor heat levels to each persons desires, from crybaby mild (my fiancees personal choice) to incendiary (my choice, complete with ghost peppers). No matter what heat level you prefer, there will be something delicious here for you, including gluten free and vegan options - though if you have severe/sensitive gluten allergies you may have to be careful as they do process gluten-containing foods in the kitchen. Just talk to Mr. J or his wife though, theyll steer you right!

Im from the UK so was weaned on Indian Food. This IS THE best Indian restaurant in the US.[It far beats out the one in Providence]. The owner is extremely willing to explain the menu to the new comers and spends his time ensuring everyone is happy even the kids! We have never been disappointed. I can ask for what ever heat I want as in spicy medium or deliciously HOT. And I can just say "make me something delicious" and its done! Sadly, Americans appear to be in fear of trying something different other than pizza and Italian. I say take your family to something different this Friday or Saturday night. You will not be disappointed, dont be shy ask questions - learn about it. And you will fall in love with another countries food! Go on try it and be prepared to fall in love and it will be your favorite place. The spread the news to your friends!

Walked in at 7:20pm and there was not a single light on, no music, nothing. We had to ask the staff, whom were sitting at the bar, if they were open. We were sat. We were told they had no beer, later were told they had beer. No beer menu. No prices. So we agreed to a beer. Ordered garlic naan, chicken vindaloo, shrimp curry and tandoori chicken. All very good. Not as hot as we requested. But still delicious. Each dish came with a small amount of rice. We asked for more rice to go with dishes. We were a party of three. Staff took there time clearing old dishes and replenishing water. Bill came. Two beers were $12! We couldnt believe it. Disney prices. Lmao. The bill was close to $80 for three dishes/ 2 beers and AN order of naan. Too pricy!

Absolutely Fabulous FOOD & service! They catered our wedding: OH MY GOSH - FANTASTIC! Not only was the food incredible but the presentation was just beautiful! Super friendly hosts! They will cater the food to your spice rating (which is great when youve never tried Indian food before) and for the catering services- they were super willing to hold the spicy and added ALL the flavor!!! Thank you guys SO much! They bring out special treats (off menu) for us to try! I cant reccomend them higher than 5 stars- or I would!!

Im from the UK and trust me, we know Indian food in the UK. APNA serves very very high quality Indian food. The staff are great also. The atmosphere is American meets Indian with a vibrant bar where you can enjoy a beer while you wait for your take-out. Jay is your friendly bartender and always welcomes you by name. A wonderful Punjabi experiencemail all around. Highly recommended. Order your food mild if you are a newbie to Indian food. The flavors are simply stunning. One try and you will be hooked.

Highly underrated restaurant! Never let down by the food or the plethora of options to choose from. Positives: Food Ambience Service( yes it comes out little late but I was answered by the manager jay that its because they make things fresh.. So no complaints) The only negative I can point is the distance from interstate. Had a hard time spotting it first time. My favourites: Tandoori items, Chole and out of the menucard tikki :)

I am so glad to walk into this fine family restaurant. I love trying new places, and I love Indian cuisine. The service was pleasant, the place was clean, the location is great and the food was amazing! I had the garlic naan, papdum, tandoori chicken and jeera rice. All was made to perfection, and I had left over for dinner. I will forever bring my friends here for a real authentic taste of India. You must try this place!

Delicious food and awesome staff. Accommodating of our large group, with us not knowing when the rest of the party would get there. Very helpful when one of us needed to find a dish that would fit her preferences. The portions look small when they bring it out but Indian food is so filling; even my husband, who always cleans his plate, had a little bit to take home with us. We will definitely be back!

I dont know why there arent more reviews of this place. Went in on a Sunday around noon for the lunch buffet and it was almost deserted, to our surprise. Food was excellent (loved the chicken tikka, chana masala, curry chicken, and rice pudding), the service was great (never let our water glasses get too empty), and it was reasonably priced. I highly recommend! Ill definitely be going back.

We have eaten here twice and been disappointed both times. The dishes are sub-par with the meat never being as described on the menu. One dish described lamb kabobs and was actually bone-in. The meat in the goat biryani was so over cooked and as dry as can be. I wont eat here again and I dont recommend this place. Drive a little extra and go to Rasoi in Pawtucket.

Top 10 Indian restaurants you must go to in USA. I am a harsh critic when I write about food and restaurants. I travel quiet a bit thorough out USA. This is a fantastic place with a perfect setting in suburb country side and food will remind of pure northern cuisine from Delhi, and Punjab. The taste reminds me of perfect cooked meat with homemade spices.

I am shocked to see a restaurant empty on a Saturday. I came for the lunch buffet and I was disappointed. The food was pretty cold. No one warmed anything up. The naan was very hard to chew and looked as if it was made a while ago and it wasnt even warm. Not very good for vegetarians. The sweets werent that good. I wont be returning to this place.
