Stopped here for breakfast during the 4th of July weekend, and it was popping! It is a charming spot with quirky, welcoming decor inside and plenty of outdoor seating. I had a cheesy New Orleans sandwich with the herb home fries. The eggs were cooked perfectly and went well with the sausage. My boyfriend had the Cajun breakfast that came with crumbly cornbread. And the brewed coffee was A+. I would give the place five stars if the ordering system were a little less confusing. If you get there when then lines out the door, they take your name while youre waiting in the line and find you a table (which is excellent), but you have to order at the counter anyway. There are signs that alert you to this and so do the staff, but we saw at least one party get very confused by this. Otherwise its a great place! Id go here again while Im in Sandwich!

We tried this place out for the first time and were not impressed. First off-seeting inside is so cramped. Though the food was prepared well, its nothing exciting. You cant come here and get eggs, toast, hash, and bacon. Its like eggs and a breakfast salad. Bacon and fruit. I get that its supposed to be healthier and Im all down for that, but the food combinations are perplexing. They have a wide assortment of pastries, but I cant eat them so I cant say if they are good or not. Pricing is ok. A little on the expensive side, but not 15$ per plate. I got pancakes (only pancakes) and my other half got a sandwich and roasted potatoes, 17$. I recommend eating outside, getting their earlier, and maybe being a hipster.

I like it here. Emphasis in LIKE. Its ok, I dont love it. The food is good, they have that down. I drink espresso and specialty drinks and the young staff they hire just cannot make a good coffee. Also the one older lady they have working for them is insanely rude every single time I go up to the counter. I still come here because its convienient and the food is wonderful but the staff needs to lighten up and smile once in a while. Im in the exact same business with a much higher volume and a faster pace and I can still keep my cool and manage to make people smile all day. They just dont know customer service.

We came here for the first time about 5 1/2 years ago, and as a joke I commented that wed have to have a sandwich in Sandwich. We looked up places on the internet and was led to this place. Little did we know that Cafe Chew has elevated the sandwich to an art form. The Smokey Dutchman is seriously the best sandwich Ive ever eaten in my life (in over a half a century, Ive eaten a few sandwiches in my time). Everything Ive tasted had been fantastic! The other thing I like about this place is the owner is focused on service and I can tell he makes every effort to make a great guest experience.

Cafe Chew is a new favorite of ours! The menu is enormous, the soups are outstanding and the desserts are the best that we have found on Cape Cod! The vibe is comfortable, funky and warm. It is a much warmer and artsy type of place than it looks like from the outside. The Split Pea Soup with Ham was one of the best that I have ever had. The homemade croutons are delicious, fresh and crispy. Our Ham Sandwich with Gruyere Cheese could have used more moisture. We should have asked for some mayo, but we were in a hurry. The staff is warm and helpful. We love Chew!!!

Maybe it was the excellent weather that made me want to relax in the shade and have a ice cold coffee with a light meal but I had a really great time here. Its a very loose format where you walk in pick up a menu, walk up to the counter when youre ready to order, then you grab a seat where you like and they deliver the food to you. I got to try a couple of there menu items -pulled pork tasted homemade, the veggie wrap is great with its flavorful hummus, and the chicken salad was great and not to mayo-e. Good time!

This is a great place for sandwiches. I had the grilled Reuben and my wife was very happy with the 1/2 sandwich and soup lunch special. They make their own versions of iced tea and French sodas. Everything it was extremely good. Or as my wife would put it, "very delicious!" We had to come all the way from Southern California to get a really good Reuben. Everyone there is very helpful. The owner is quick to discuss anything from todays weather to politics. Very relaxing atmosphere.

I adore this place and go whenever possible. Theres a decent selection of appetizing options prepared to order (love their breakfast sandwiches!) and the coffee is consistently enjoyable (Im a Java snob and dont compliment without merit). Theres often a line, but its well organized, shipshape and Bristol fashion. They have delightful outdoor seating (rare) but the pièce de résistance is the superb service-always with a genuine smile. Bravo!

I ordered a specialty sandwich called The Pilgrim. The main ingredient is the turkey meat on cranberry walnut bread. What I am surprised about is that the turkey meat is not processed meat but the roasted turkey meat, just like what we have for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Very delicious. There are vegetarian as well as organic options. For sure I will go back to try other specialty sandwiches.

This is THE place to grab a sandwich. Plenty of seating inside and out. This shop is tiny but makes great use of its space. Every time Im here I like to drop by and try a new sandwich. Their salads and baked goods are out of this world! Do yourself a favor and drop by for a bite!!!

Fantastic service and food! Sandwiches are high quality meat and served with Cape Cod Chips. The cafe is super cute. Get there early if you want a table. It is always busy and the cafe is on the small side so in order to get a table plan ahead! Great for lunch!

A nice place to go and order a sandwich. The sandwiches were made with very fresh and organic ingredients. My favorite was the Scandinavian Sandwich. The portion sizes are on the larger size. Prices were well priced. Highly recommended!

Excellent selection of sandwiches, ranging from interesting choices to things your pickiest kid will eat (yes, there is peanut butter and jelly). Pickles and Cape Cod chips with meals and good iced tea.

Popped in here on our way to Provincetown because you cant drive by a town named sandwich and not stop for one! The staff was super friendly, the service was speedy, and the sandwiches were incredible.
