The first time that my wife and I attempted to go to Flatbreads in Salem there was an hour long wait for a table and no seats at the bar. So a few weeks later we called ahead to see what the wait time was looking like before walking over from Notch Brewery. It was about 5:30 on a Sunday and we had 2 guests with us from out of town. The hostess informed us that there was presently no wait but a line might potentially form in the next half hour. She asked when we anticipated arriving (in 20 minutes), the number in our party, and offered to take down our name just in case a line did form. When we got there exactly 20 minutes later we were told it was a 30+ minute wait to be seated. We tried to explain that someone had taken down our name but were rudely told that it didnt matter and they can only reserve tables for 6 of more. I insisted that we had been misled and asked what the purpose was of them writing down our name and arrival time if we still had to wait the full amount of time. The hostess was extremely unhelpful and never even bothered to a check a list verify our claim. Needless to say we left and headed around the corner to Olde Main Street Pub (highly recommended!). The only reason Im even giving a rating of one star is because weve been to the Flatbreads in North Conway on multiple occasions and have had an amazing experience! I wish I could say the same about the Salem location.

The service was slow despite not being very busy. The server was friendly and attentive, however, once she got to us. Lots of draft beers were kicked and were switched to things not listed on the menu, which the server had a hard time remembering - not her fault, since all but one out of the 7-8 beers were something other than whats listed on the menu. Crust of the pizza was perfection. I did a build-your-own and started with a basic cheese with chicken and sun dried tomatoes added. Theres a big focus on wholesome ingredients, which is great, but the sun dried tomatoes had a funky texture and taste to them, and the pizza was a little bit haphazardly prepared. Overall a good place, but nothing remarkable.

I truly enjoyed the pizza we ordered, but we will probably not be returning to this restaurant because of the absolutely atrocious service which I hope is a reflection of just one waitress and not the staff as a whole. Our server was slow to bring us drinks, never refilled them, brought our pizza over with no plates (the plates only came 10 minutes later when she came to ask us if we needed anything else), and sat at the bar texting while we spent several minutes trying to get her attention to get our check. While I know that things can get hectic during a dinner service, there may have been 5 other parties in total at the restaurant. It is a shame. The pizza was really good.

Ive been to several other Flatbread locations outside of Massachusetts, and this one was no worse than the others, despite rumors of poor service. The pizza here is exactly the same in all aspects as the pizza at other Flatbread locations. The location itself is a bit off given Flatbreads rustic/farmhouse theme, but it certainly doesnt make the quality of the food here any different. We didnt have a chance to experience this place when its crowded, as we ate here on a weekday just before closing time, so the place was almost empty. We were served drinks, and our pizza came out in a very timely manner.

Went here for dinner Saturday, October 30th right after peak dinner time. Was told the wait would be an hour but actually only had to wait 15 minutes because people kept leaving to come back later. Our waitress was super helpful, attentive, and pleasant; which was surprising on such a crazy night. The flatbreads were likewise amazing (we did half Community and half Equilibrium), and I cant say enough positive things about their house salad. I will definitely be going back next year when I visit!

While the Flatbread Company isnt inexpensive by any means, you do really get what you pay for. High quality ingredients lead to flatbread that youll find yourself eating that "one more slice". Flatbread did a good job with this location which is light and airy. The staff are friendly and attentive. Be sure to check out the daily specials as they are often well worth getting.

Though Im not usually a pizza fan, I really enjoyed their food! The crust, cheese, and sauce were all delicious; the company there was fabulous and the service was spectacular. Seeing as I went there near Halloween, it was pretty busy and it took a while for us to get our food, but other than that I would highly suggest going there.

Great service and amazing food! The place looks pretty new and has open space layout (you could literally see your food being made)! We came during lunch and there was no wait time for a booth! Well be coming back soon :)

I went on the 4th of July. It was busy but they got us seated quickly. The waitress was vey friendly, everything was fast and delicious. She even let me know they had vegan deserts for the kids! Ill definitely be back

Terrible service. Didnt get my order right. Was with two others who ordered pizza. Their food came quick. My SALAD didnt show up until I had to ask about it, they made it wrong. AVOID this place like the plague.

The flatbread is great but be prepared to wait a while if doing the build your own flatbread option and it is busy. It would be better if they took orders through devices on each table.

Tried the vegan on a whim (Im not vegan). Delicious, plenty of topping, chewy crust (not overcooked like in some brick ovens). Decent beer/bar selection.
