Went there this past Easter Day 2014. All the good things were marred by a poor waitress (4.5 stars tuned into 3) that worked on our table of 6. A typical, over self-worth, 35+ y/o waitress that seems to have a beef with other waitresses. She came over and slammed the bill on the table way too early. We wanted to add a takeout order, but she immediately ignored us. I tried to politely get her attention and then she basically scolded me on the point that she wasnt my waitress. What BS. She definitely made a rookie mistake because of her ugly and crass attitude. Our waitress apologized and took our order immediately. This place needs to cull poor attitudes and to retrain some staff as it hurts the whole business.

With ample parking and a surprisingly large seating capacity, even on busy Sunday mornings, I rarely have to wait long to be seated here. The home style restaurant atmosphere is comfortable, and the wait staff have always been extremely nice. The food is good, diner style breakfast and lunch fare, and the portions are typically generous - so plan to leave very full. Reservations are available for large parties, and though they dont accept debit or credit cards, they have an ATM in house.

Quaint little place in a lovely setting. Very friendly and accommodating staff and head honcho. Went there with our daughter and brand new granddaughter and the staff cooed over her endlessly. Slightly annoyed that credit cards are not accepted - just lucky we had enough cash to pay the bill. Wonder if they would take an infant in lieu!

One of my all time favorite breakfast places on the North Shore!! Been going here since I can remember - with my family and still go here as an adult with my husband & friends! Cozy atmosphere, great service, and ultimately great food!! Generous servings for a great price, and bottomless coffee!

Its consistently been a great place to eat since my first visit 40 years ago! I love the fluffy delicious omelette with a huge choice of fillers. The biscuits were exquisite! And it goes without saying- the pancakes are to die for. * they accept cash only.

Feels old-timey inside, like a place that was last thoroughly updated in the early 90s. Its a nice quiet diner feel. The food is pretty good. I usually rate diners based on their corned beef hash, so Id say 4/5. Id probably go here again.

Best breakfast I think Ive ever had. The little touches like using garlic on the American fries, using real pumpkin in the pumpkin pancakes and making the omelettes extra fluffy definitely will guide my stomach back there many times more.
