Friendly wait staff. It was my second time in this diner. The first time we sat by the window. As we waited for our breakfast seated on the bar stool section of the restaurant, I couldnt help but notice all the disgusting bad habits going on from the cooks side. It started with the scratching of the ear and not washing hands. The final straw was watching the cook with long white hair, tied in a lose, messy ponytail, dip bread in a barrel of beaten eggs with her bare hands up to her wrists, to make French toast. She uses the same eggs from that barrel she just dipped her wrists in to make other dishes. Not once did I see washing of the hands from both cooks. These are just a few things Im mentioning but needless to say I will never go back as I was so disgusted It ruined my appetite.

I never hesitate to go to City Side when I want some breakfast. The menu is your standard breakfast selection, but its always prepared well. The lunch menu is also pretty fantastic, with daily specials and dessert. The waitresses are incredibly pleasant no matter if its your first trip there or youre a regular. It does get rather busy on the weekend days, but if youre a night owl, they are open overnights on Friday and Saturday. They accept Montserrat and Endicott College off-campus meal plans. Highly, highly recommended.

I agree with a previous reviewer, this diner is indeed a hidden gem. Great lunch special everyday. You get your meal, a drink AND dessert (homemade pie). This place stole my heart one day when I could not decide between the banana cream pie and the strawberry shortcake, the waitress told me that she would take care of it. She came back with Banana cream strawberry shortcake, superb! Great service, great food at an unbelievable price!

This is my favorite weekend brunch place on the north shore. The food is fantastic and served in huge portions. The waitstaff is quick and fun to talk to, and the decor has a great dinery feel (and tons of Pez dispensers everywhere!).

To many years have past since my first meal there. Never been served anything I a did not enjoy. Love to kid the super nice waitresses . Dinner prices, upscale food and service. Dont believe me I dont want competition for tables.Not!

Me and my boyfriend come here nearly every weekend for breakfast, sometimes both saturday and sunday! Its the perfect breakfast spot, cheap AWESOME food, plus incredible waitstaff. Definitely my favorite breakfast joint in the area!
