This is one of the places I would say I visit every couple of weeks for the last month or so. So I have been there enough to feel like I can finally formulate an opinion. Lets start with the price. I think that the price is great and pretty inexpensive if I based my opinion on this place soley on that it woulf have a 4. The food is pretty good not the best and a lot of stuff doesnt look that fresh but you get what you pay for so I can appreciate it for that Food is a solid 3 out of 5. The service is what gets me I would rate it at around a 2 simply because the implication of a buffet is all you can eat. While when your actually eating after 3 plates the server comes by at drops down the bill. Usually she leaves you alone for a bit and comes back to retrieve it. But I decided I wasnt done. So i went back up for the next plate and started eating at which point she came back and simply stood staring at me. I brushed it off as weird and finished eating and decided I still wasnt full so I went and got another plate at which point she went over and started talking to fellow employees while staring at me directly. I looked up at them and they didnt waver and kept staring so at this point I was decided to hell with it and decided to just pay and leave and of course her seeing a card being placed down she immediately walked over no embarrassment from the fact that she was just talking about me to her coworkers. That is why I have to give it a 2 stars. Dont call yourself a buffer and imply all you can eat if your staff is gonna act like this.

After hearing about how great is is from a number of different friends, finally tried it last night. They are absolutely correct. The buffet is HUGE!!! Lots of great items. I found the garlic shrimp to be outstaning, in fact all the shrimp dishes were very good. Th shrimp was very fresh and tasty. There were clams, oysters, fish, calamari, everything except lobsters and scallops, but then at their fantastic prices, what do you expect. I saw someone giving it one star because they had no internet and had rotten fruits. I found that to be stupid comment. What buffet place would want you to stay by providing you with free internet??? They would be out of business in no time flat!! However, if you wanted great food and an ecellent price and wide variety, including steaks, a cook as you ordered teppanyaki grill, fresh sushi, great choices in salads and desserts, go here. Dont wait. You will be sorry when you go for the first time, why you didnt go earlier! Run here, dont walk!! There was a wait, but for a SAturday night for dinner, it was only a 15 minutes wait. Not too bad at all.

Very bad experience. I used to come to this place twice a month . Today at 3pm when Im enjoying my food with my family the manager walk to me saying that he will charge extra $$$ because I was having seafood and that is for dinner and because I walked between launch and dinner I told him its ok but dont disturb me now when Im eating my food wait tell you bring me the bill than explain tome ,he doesnt want to leave he was arguing with me all the time I enderstand what he was saying but he doesnt want to enderstand to wait tell I receive the bill to explain to me . I just stopped eating and handed him my credit card to charge me so I can leave this place and never comeback again . Due to this customer service I asked him for a phone number to complain he refused to do so . I strongly not recommending this place . Do not go there

I went to this place with my family, the food was ok.. What I did not like is the waitress bringing us the bill before we were even done, it was really rude and disrespectful, you call yourself a buffet but dont even give people the chance to be done. Anyways she got the bill there and even though i wasnt done I decided to put the money in there and before I could finish recounting my money, the waitress walks up to me and grabs the money with the recipe bill... They need to Change how their waiters treat people, if you dont want people to eat as much as they like please dont call yourself a buffet... They will do anything to get you out of there and thats very RUDE and unprofessional.. The only reason I gave it a two star was because the food was OK... I will not go back there Anymore

Unhealthy fast foods and supper Chinese buffet restaurants have been unproportionaly targeting African Americans and other minority communities. This is not because black people spent more money eating out but because we dont think twice what we consume even if its killing us thats why obesity is unprecedented. This is why.. If you ever wonder why we more likely to die at a faster rate from all type of diseases such us cancer, heart attack, diabetes, high blood pressure is because we dont pay attention to our diet. Unhealthy buffet restaurant like Flaming Grill has zero chance in succeeding had they open in areas like Newton or Wellesley and that is why you never see one. how ever they flourish in Mattapan or Dorchester. Dont let anyone one get richer at the expense of your own LIFE.

Food was good for the price, but when I went to the restroom they gave my table to a new patrin, and when I asked to speak to management at the front of the restaurant it didnt happen the person at the register asked if I had already paid ( which of course I already had because I was given the bill so I paid it). I was told so sorry but because you paid they thought you were done. So if youre looking for a friendly relaxed place to go DONT GO THERE! I feel the place is high end fast food not friendly comfortable relaxing eating. Just shovel it in pay and leave. And dont leave your table alone it wont be there when you get back

Extraordinary food with very affordable prices (depending if its weekdays, weekends or holidays) with a large variety of plates including seafood, sushi and desserts. Never had any trouble with service... You pretty much do it yourself but theres still waiters are always around ready to accommodate you with anything you need. I always order water but they have all type of sodas and sorted drinks, they also have Coffee to help me bring the food down in the end when Im full. Simply put: "I like this place to eat... its very uncomplicated"

I hated it. My silverware was dirty, there was something floating in my drink, looked more or so like a maggot. We informed the manager, and she treated as though I wasnt even a customer. She called the cops after weve specifically told her we would pay our meal. When we asked her employee to clarify that he changed my silverware several times, he lied and said my silverware wasnt even dirty. All in all, I hated the place, never again will I go to eat here. I wasnt even treated properly. I suggest you find somewhere better to go to.
