I was absolutely appalled by the treatment I received from the Starbucks in Target in Plainville. When I approached the ordering area the worker was on her phone texting which is fine when customers arent around but I shouldnt have to wait for her to finish her texting conversation. I let that go because I know this is the 21st century and it happens. So I gave her a chance to redeem herself and walked over to where she was standing. She rudely said to me the register is over there. So I said oh ok well I have a coupon and it is for buy one get one. She had a blank face no reaction on her face. Her hat was sideways, her puffy blonde hair looked like she just rolled out of bed (ok I was trying to look past that again) I then asked her if this coupon had any restriction she shrugged her shoulders and said IDK. So I asked her if she was familiar with this coupon and actually gave it to her and again IDK! Ok now i was getting aggravated. I placed my order and she gave it to the barista. She then went into the back (but where I could see her) to once again go text on her phone). There were 3 or 4 customers lining up and she ended up leaving the station while her co-workers tried to catch up. Her co worker said I am sorry I will be right with you. I said no problem thats ok, it is not your fault that your co-worker decided to leave you with a rush. Then she became cocky and said well we are just trying to get breaks squared away. I told her I understood but her co-worker didnt have to be so rude because she wanted a break. She then said (with an attitude) well I cant control people. So I told her yes you are right but management can handle the situation. I can not believe I was treated this way by not 1 employee but 2 in one night. I have worked in customer service since I was 14 and never in my life have I treated a customer this way even on my worst day. Management should give them a class on professionalism and customer service!!!!I work down the street from this starbucks but will try to look for another location if this ever occurs again.

I am disappointed in this location as it only has 1 person serving most of the time. I have visited this location many many times & it has been always only one person serving. Also they have now implemented a new way of providing the brown sugar that is always at the sugar and milk station at other locations, namely one now has to line up a second time to request the number of sugars one needs. How silly & infuriating this is to have to line up a second time in order to get the brown sugar & be asked how many? It felt like one was at a cheap fast food place instead of a classy Starbucks. This will certainly affect repeat business & future image of Starbucks if it is a trend that will be pursued in other locations

The Starbucks in Plainville doesnt operate independently from Target. Its not like a store within a mall. It does fairly well with a steady line of customers whenever Ive gone. However, theres constant shuffling of Target employees and the Starbucks seems to be an afterthought. They randomly close down the chains reward point system and often wont honor it. They also dont keep proper hours that are regularly posted, closing early. They take for granted the amount of revenue that it must generate with a product that is significantly better than the horrible burnt or watered down sewage served at Dunks across the street. I attribute this fact to the brands quality and not who is serving it.

Decided to swing in around 9:30 on a Saturday morning to grab a quick breakfast. Order an ice coffee and sandwich. Get my coffee in a jiffy, made correctly, then waited over 10 minutes for my sandwich. Wasnt busy, but there was a reasonable flow of customers. Finally I likely ask if my sandwich is coming as I had been waiting some time. The girl apologizes after looking at the cashier like he had two heads, then offers to refund me. Which she does then goes back to organizing lids. I wanted my sandwich not my money. Thanks for nothing.

I have been going to this Target Store location for almost 2 years. The staff has been attentive, meticulous, and wonderfully conversant. There is a high staff changeover, since many are college-age students, but all who are trained to work here are great personalities. Wait lines are longer on weekends when there are more shoppers, but there is always plenty of help on standby to help with service.

Very fast and very accurate. The people who work here are relatively young and I have seen people who were obviously being trained get a lot of rather rude complaints and comments from customers in line about being slow or little things that didnt warrant the responses Customers had. All the employees handle customers and their attitudes unbelievably well and are very professional.

Slow and cant make orders correctly the first time, when asked to take things back gave me an attitude. Never again. Thanks Starbucks for putting your name on these fools who cant run a small storefront.

They didnt give points last time I was there because they are inside a Target. Maybe things have changed. Nice area to sit.
