I went here for dinner with my mom after shipping at Nordstroms. The decor is great, the staff was friendly, but honestly, not the best food. It was definitely a chain. I got the cod as an entree and it was so hot I had to wait 5-10 minutes to eat it and so (unsurprisingly) it was overcooked. The grilled asparagus were good. The basil oil to go with the bread was good. The garden salad was giant and had lots of accoutrements, but I like green romaine, not the pale, light green insides that are a little bitter, so wasnt my fav. My mom got the BBQ pizza and liked it. We both also got drinks. I had the caiprihana and it was super strong and the pineapple was muddled but kept getting stuck in my straw. And it was very sweet. Should have stuck with wine! My favorite part was the key lime pie at the end--really creamy and good. My mom got a coffee and it was lukewarm. Overall, the experience wasnt bad, but it the food wasnt great and our bill was $100 including tip. Seems expensive for the lower-quality of food. Id put it on par with a Joes American Bar and Grill. Also... They charged us $5.50 for soda waters. Ha.

Spent the last half of Mothers Day listening to my little niece violently vomiting for hours after she was served a second helping of pasta that was not gluten free at this establishment. Watched on helplessly as my panicked sister in law tried to obtain information from the management as to whether the non gluten free pasta also had egg in it. My niece carries an epipen for her egg allergy. She was provided little to no help. My brother then had to call. My niece had to be hospitalized because of the negligence of this establishment. They were more worried about protecting themselves then providing information that could save a little girls life. I am disgusted! This poor little girl suffered horribly. Vomiting to the point of dehydration. If you have a food allergy, I would think twice before ingesting any of the poison at this restaurant. And shame on the staff and management for cowering over their mistakes rather than owning up to them.

So i went to burtons with my friend on july 8, 2016 at around 8:00 pm. And i have to say this was single handily the absolute worst restaurant experience i ever had. To start with we order onion rings as a app, and they were super oily and devoid of all taste an we never recieve any app plates to go with it. Two; we sat at the bar force to listen to the bartender brag about how she made $527 that night all while we sat their wating for refills that never came and they never asked how are food was. And lastly me and my friend meal was the worst part of the experience with her getting the lobster and shrimp pasta and me getting the salmon burger an we both agree that eating the cardboard from cereal boxes would have been a more flavorful then the food we got. Honestly burton for the money that you charge people you should feel ashame treating people the way you treated us and the food that went out.

Always pleased when visiting this location. Missing something from an "experience" point of view when comparing it to the North Andover location but its much closer to my home and it is always worth my time and money. Im very surprised when I visit and dont have to wait for a table...very surprised. I have not had to wait once during dinner and its good for me and my company as far as speed of service, but the wait in North Andover is part of the experience for me I guess. I like the anticipation of a great meal, getting a drink at the bar, and getting buzzed when my table is ready. The location, size, and layout of the restaurant may have something to do with my view that something is "missing" but it is always clean and the staff is always professional. They even wear their smiles every time Ive visited. I really hope they stay at the North Shore Mall for my sake!

Amazing Gluten-Free menu! Normally, restaurants that offer gluten-free menus have a few good choices available, but Burtons has a whole menu. We ordered the GF calamari as an appetizer and my boyfriend, who usually cant stomach gluten-free food, thought it was the best calamari hes had in a long time. We dine out a lot and it was nice to find a restaurant that offers so many choices. I dont know if its because I was so excited about having a cheeseburger/fries at a restaurant for the first time in three years, but we also really enjoyed the atmosphere and found our waitress to be very knowledgeable and friendly. The calamari app, two cheeseburgers with fries, two beers, and two red wines came out to $60 before tip- which we found to be very reasonable. We found our new restaurant on the North Shore!

Thought Burtons would offer a better steak than most. My mistake. Two steaks on the menu, a Filet and a Rib Eye Omaha. At $36 each, I assumed either would be excellent and ordered the Rib Eye, medium rare. What a disappointment! The steak was relatively thin, somewhat stringy and had an odd back flavor that was clearly a rub, but did not belong on a good steak. Very disappointed. The mashed potatoes were excellent and the glass of red was superb. Too bad about the steak though. Would not recommend. BTW - Service & atmosphere was very good and my wife loved the caesar salad with chicken.

This is our neighborhood restaurant and its a fun place to dine. The service is always friendly and prompt. If you sit at the bar, order a cocktail from Antonio, Christine or Kayla. They know what theyre doing behind the bar and they are quick to greet you once you sit down. The food is always fresh, hot and well presented. I love their cheeseburgers but they also have a wide variety of menu items - beef, shrimp, salmon, chicken and if youre a vegetarian, they have a nice selection available for you.

The food here was amazing! Yet I have one complaint. The service here was horrible. Our table was cluttered with dishes, we had to ask for everything, even for them to clean the table! The table next to us was getting amazing service while we were getting horrible service. The waitress did not care to ask us how our food was going or if we wanted a refill. All in all, we did not have a good time here.

I went to Burtons Grill last night with my friends and I loved it. Fantastic service, great food, great drinks. I had the best burger in my life there and I definitely will be returning. One thing I didnt like was that the waitress did not come as often as we would like and the drinks took a while to come. Otherwise, great restaurant!

Best California Style grilled chicken sandwich ever! chicken with ample toppings of cheddar,avocado,hickory smoked grilled bacon,lettuce & tom on a flavorful roll. Very tasty handcut french fries. we sat in over stuffed comfy booth with mood lighting. waiters were knowledgeable & friendly. great burgers.ample portions.
